Hotel Honucai

The sauna was small (comfortably for 2 people), but quite nice and new.The inside pool had a good hydromassage function.Besides this, the rooftop was beautiful, with a nice bar on it as well. And the location is amazing. Very quiet at night, not as touristic as other places and with few but good restaurants nearby.Being so close to a well preserved part of the island makes the experience fantastic.

Lack of parking can be a bit tough depending on the weather or if it's high season. Not as problematic when sunny and out of summer. Other than this, the Spa shower was not working very well. Their GYM was quite limited with only a treadmill, a transport and a set of dumbbells of different weights (maxing at around 10kg).

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Honucai - the hotel was clean, comfortable and in the perfect location. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, but didn't feel squishes, especially since most of our days were spent out and about. We loved walking out of the hotel and right onto the beach. The breakfast was plentiful and kept us satisfied every day. The rooftop pool is a great perk with its beautiful views and a post beach swim. The staff was friendly, nice and helpful. Would give Hotel Honucai 5/5 stars.

Honestly the best hotel experience I’ve ever had so far. Staff were super friendly. Room was cleaned and had amazing view. The rooftop area was nice, they played amazing music at all times and also had live dj some nights. The drinks were delicious. They gave us new beach towels every day. The wellness area was nice. We love the service. Hotel was in a nice location and neighborhood.

I liked the location and the amenities offered.

I didn’t like that the water is salty. This is not ideal for showering or drinking after a hot day.

The breakfast was amazing. The location was fun. In hindsite and after exploring the island, I think I would have preferrred to stay in a beach location to the west of Palma.

I would have preferred to stay in a different town/village. The hotel was very nice.

The staff was lovely and it was very nice to be welcomed with a refreshing drink. The solarium area was very nice and relaxing, as well as the spa (needs to be booked, but this allows you to control the number of people in the spa, making it a more relaxing experience. Breakfast was very good, and we had dinner once in the hotel, and the food was very good as well. Colonia de S Jordi is a calm and family-oriented location, very walkable, with easy-to-find street parking (free). Es Trenc beach is amazing.

The room was a bit hot.

We were really impressed with the hotel, the rooftop pool was so comfortable and clean. The rooms were really nice and comfortable and the food was absolutely great! The location of the hotel was so ideal, right infant of the Port and a lovely small bay for bathing on just to the left. Lovely restaurants nearby and mini supermarket just over the road. We liked it so much we decided to stay on another couple of nights and changed our flight.

The only negative was when we booked on for the extra nights there was some discrepancy about leaving the room to then 'check-in' again at 4pm but I think the member of staff was new and had made a mistake.

We stayed in a family suite and it was amazing! Great size, lovely storage, and we loved the balcony overlooking the sea. We had the privacy we wanted. House keeping was very attentive. Everyone in the reception was friendly and professional. It is one of the best hotel we have been in Europe!

The only hiccup was the aircon/heating not functioning properly. It would not turn on the cooling mode due to the warm weather outside according to the manager. However the hotel quickly reciprocated the issue and gave us a complimentary wine for the experience. 5 stars.

Rooftop was amazing, breakfast great and the proximity to the harbour.

Rooms are fairly small, the Spa shower didn’t work and the facilities were not very clean.

It was close to the port which is about the only good part of the area.

The rooms are very basic, as was the buffet breakfast. There was poor maintenance in rooms with a light hanging off the ceiling and scuffed wall paper. Instead of a double bed there are two singles which were not made up as one but instead just pushed together which I’ve never seen a hotel do before.

Overpriced, terrible breakfast and rude staff.

The Hotel was located at a nice area and offers a lovely view. The rooms are cute and well eqipped. Breakfast staff was very lovely. We could check in 1 hour earlier and got a room to the backside where it was quite from outside.

Very unpolite staff at the rooftop area. Nobody felt responsible. Not enough umbrellas or broken ones. It was a disaster to get a shadow place and you had to wait around 45min til the lady who had nothing else to do was helping you, around 11 o clock!!! Paying over 250€ per night and not able to use this terrace directly after breakfast was not what we expected. The hotel floors have been noisy, you always heard neighbors having a shower very loud. And the breakfast looked good but the offered egg and vegetables or the tortilla didn’t taste at all. For extra money you could have a fantastic coffee. So we did this every morning.
