Pros +
- The locations was great. Rooms were very nice. Food was good.
- Lovely pool area Close to beaches
- Rooftop, breakfast, spa facilities, close to beach, good quality restaurant, friendly staff
Cons -
- The pool was a bit dirty. Someone came and took some gunk out but then didn’t do any chlorine or anything and it came back. Our room had some ants.
- I recently stayed at this hotel and while the staff were very friendly and polite, there seemed to be a lack of understanding when it comes to the concept of customer service — particularly the idea that "the customer is always right."Several key elements of our experience were missing, starting with the welcome drink on arrival, which was neither offered nor acknowledged. Throughout our stay, blue towels were not provided in our room as expected, again with no apology or explanation. These may seem like small issues, but they reflect a general lack of attention to guest expectations. The coffee was of poor quality, and breakfast was extremely limited — not well-stocked and lacking variety. Additionally, the food overall was overpriced and didn't live up to the quality you'd expect for the cost. While the stay had some enjoyable moments thanks to the pleasant staff, the overall experience did not justify the hefty price. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return and can’t recommend it based on value for money.
- Better quality hairdryer, more music / vibes in the pool areas, reserved pool beds for different rooms when it was low capacity

The rooftop bar is amazing with panoramic seaviews all around
The pool was not heated although I appreciate it is not always energy efficient to do so the indoor pool was too small to swim in
The hotel is in the middle of big construction area. So a lot of noise all dat that starts already very early in the morning. The wifi in the room is terrible ive told the receptionist but no one solved the problem. Also the central heating was on all night and you can’t change this per room. So the nights were really uncomfortable warm, we couldn’t open the windows because if the construction noise. They made the pool area with special sunbeds that you can only use if you have a special room which give a bit of a cold vibe to the poolarea. There was never anyone there. Not very warm and welcoming for the vibe. Also the sunbeds at the rooftop there was never ever anyone there because you have to pay €30 per day to use them also when youve booked a cheaper room with them also not very cosy for the atmosphere as well. They want to create a beach chill vibe but in the end all the areas are empty and makes it feel like a ghost town. The rooms were very clean and the staff was really friendly.
It was a very good stay. The hotel met our expectations; the rooms have sea views and are pleasant. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is extremely pleasant and attentive. Thank you again to them for making this stay even more enjoyable. If you're coming by car, you can easily park around the hotel. The hotel is next to a path leading to a beach and is generally well located. The two outdoor pools are good sizes, even if they are not heated. The spa is nice, although it can be a bit small during peak season and when there are more people. The rooftop is a real charmer and the view is incredible for the sunsets. We recommend that you take the dinner option, as it is of high quality and varied. It's not a buffet, but a truly elaborate menu.
There is nothing we fundamentally disliked, however, given that you are further away, we think it is imperative to have a car for sightseeing and not rely on public transport.
Everything was so nice. Everyone was very friendly. Lia, in the reception, especially helped us a lot. She is very friendly and gives us many tips about what we can do on the island. Thanks for that nice experience. Definitely recommend.
We have visited this hotel on numerous occasions - the staff welcome us like old friends, particularly Mabel on reception who goes out of her way to ensure that your visit is everything you would hope for, including providing a number of treats by way of recognition of our frequent trips. The rooms are immaculate, as is the rest of the hotel, both inside and out. Couldn't wish for more.
Parking in the area can be difficult - this is not a hotel issue but more of an issue with the resort in general.
Beautifull hotel, stunning views, very friendly service, nice decorations and lovely smells our over the hotel!
This was our second stay at Villa Chiquita and we love the hotel. Our room large, comfortable, spacious and very clean. Great shower and bathroom facility. The WiFi seemed to work fine but we did not try to stream video or watch on-line content. The team at the hotel are excellent, nothing is too much trouble and they are focussed on giving great customer service. Breakfast is a real treat with a wide selection of pretty much anything you could want and there is a hot food option that is freshly prepared by the chef. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the sea if you like a morning dip.
There is very little to not like about Villa Chiquita and we will return in the spring. There was some building work going on next to the hotel which did not really impact us because it is in the day time and we tended to be out and about. However, this is not the hotel's fault and I am sure is only temporary.
Beautiful hotel with a nice sunset view in the rooftop. Cozy bedrooms. Very good breakfast. Worth repeating!
Room was perfect, location awesome but the best thing about this hotel is the food - incredible breakfast offerings - we ate a couple of afternoon snacks as well and they were also exceptionla.
Heated pool was not warm enough for my wife
Very peaceful and spotless staff could not do enough for you . Great room shower brilliant . Lots of choices at breakfast . The best x
Comfortable
“This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was not clean at all, and the headboard was broken. There was a strong moldy smell throughout the room, which was unbearable. Additionally, the pillows had a terrible odor, and the curtains were filthy. Even the sunshade was broken. The watermelon served at breakfast seemed either to be leftover from the night before or left out for a long time, and the food at the bar was not replenished in a timely manner. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Amazing rooms, pool areas and general surroundings were well kept! The breakfast was also one of my favourite parts of staying here - great quality food and freshness.
Beautiful boutique hotel, good range of facilities, friendly staff
Should provide free bottle water in rooms
Well- organized breakfast, good, typical and healthy products. Satisfying view of the bay. We relaxed in the SPA pool and enjoyed the view from the suggestive Sunset Club pool.
I would prefer more choice on the dinner menu
It’s quite hard if not impossible to give feedback to an outfit which has been categorised within the wrong category.
Please keep the following text in mind:The property is advertised as a 4-star superior, but this claim is misleading, given that most reviews rate the hotel as a nine or higher. The hotel appears to have been constructed and renovated to a lower standard, using low-quality materials and unskilled labour. Several issues are evident, including:- Doors and frames that are difficult or impossible to close- Poor finishing of floors and skirting boards- Wall painting and plasterwork inadequately concealing past workIn addition, the room furniture is of inferior quality, more suitable for a 1-star hotel. The air conditioning only has an on/off option. The staff on duty sets and controls the temperature at 18°C for the entire building. The inside of the elevator is in dire need of cleaning. To add to the frustration, the hotel only has eight parking spaces available for 20 euros per day, and finding parking outside is nearly impossible – a nightmare.Charging 400 euros per night for such a substandard place feels like a rip-off.
The staff were friendly, it all seemed very clean and new, the spa was lovely, the beds comfy
The bedroom was a little small and our one didn’t have a great view
Everything about this place is fantastic. The service, the food, the rooms, the pool and especially the sunset bar on the top floor. The breakfast is copious and fresh with everything you could desire. We rented bikes to go into town one day and that was very convenient. The beach is steps away and there is a nice boardwalk along the sea. The hotel is quite small so very relaxing. We also had massages which were wonderful. We will absolutely return.
The only issue we had was the construction in the area which at times was loud and dusty. They are building up that coastline now and there are a few buildings under construction near the hotel.
