Great location. Staff and food very good

- Amazing staff, they all are so nice and thoughtful, they all make your stay amazing and caring- Nice location in front of a beautiful beach, very nice pathway to walk or run - Nice hotel overall (rooms, restaurant, commune areas, gym, etc)- Snack bar with very competitive prices

- Rooms should be updated (very noisy and smelly AC, unconfortable beds) in the « side sea view » building- Fancy buffet but sometimes quality could improved, it’s overall more appealing than good (too much salt, veggies too greassy). The salad bar and the fruits are excellent though.

It was very clean; the food was great. The hotel is right on the beach. There is entertainment for both kids and parents every day. The swimming pool was wonderful. The spa was also great.

Childrens facilities were lacking out of season. Table tennis table was old and worn. Pool table didn't work. Small area also worn and old, some spiders which put my son off. Kids room lacking in activities.

Overlooking the sea, very comfortable and friendly staff

Really liked the view from the room, the facilities such as the spa, saunas and pools. The breakfast was also fantastic. The staff were also really friendly. Everything was convenient, and even the other people staying in the hotel were really nice!

The staff was unbelievable! From the front desk to the bar/waitstaff to the cleaning staff. Everyone was extremely accommodating and always had a smile. Couldn't ask for a better staff to take care of us for our stay. Housekeeping paid close attention to details. I noted that everyday, excess sand was cleaned from the track of our sliding glass door, a detail that could easily have been overlooked. The front desk was so accomodating and made sure every request was taken care of for us. We were a large group with a lot of requests lol, and they delivered each and every time without fail. The bar downstairs by the pool had a very well thought out cocktail menu. Much better than the standard sweet beachy cocktails found elsewhere in Cala Millor. Who ever designed this menu payed very close attention to the ingredients. I.e. Most Pina Coladas are way too sweet for me, and I would never consider ordering one, but my mother in law is a fan and I tried a sip, it was actually very very good. (And presentation was amazing) I am a gin drinker and they had probably close to a dozen different spanish gin tonic combinations with both local and imported gins, all properly paired with fresh fruit and herbs. I was very impressed as you usually don't find that at a poolside bar at a family resort. (I only found one other place in all of cala millor who's gin menu came even close) They had some other great cocktails that were not overly sweet like I had expected. All in all, great bar and again the staff at the bar were an absolute pleasure. To me, the staff at this hotel, from the top down, is what makes Cm Castell de Mar a great place to stay in Cala Millor. The location, adjacent to the sea, makes traveling with kids so easy. We hopped back and forth from the pool to the sea with ease.

Only recommendation would be to add some fans near the elevators as the AC didn't hit these areas. But it's Mallorca in August, so it's gunna be hot!

- the staff are really friendly and very helpful- the hotel is so close to the beach and surrounded by alot of shops, supermarkets etc..- We enjoyed the breakfast ! its diverse and you can find everything you want- Gym has good equipment.- there is a special show each night, it was good and entertaining!

- the buffet dinner on saturday was dissapointing, the theme was "american" but i think its not a great match for a saturday dinner. we expected better food quality and more options but ended up eating junk food. We have complained to the staff about the dinner, the "mallorcan" theme dinner was good in comparison.- The room style is a bit old fashioned and there is not much power outlets for all our devices.. I thin kthe rooms would need some renovation...- the room is not soundproof, noise from hallway can be heard.

The staff are all beyond reproach. From reception to the restaurant, cleaning staff to facilities management, all were great. Great location, right by the beach.

While our room was done up every day, the floor was not once vacuumed in 8 days. Otherwise the hotel was very clean.The food was OK and pretty decent for the price but not amazing.

My mini bar didn't work and had an off smell to it and when I told reception the man said that mini bars aren't supposed to cool things??? I was told it would be changed and it never was. I also asked for an iron twice and never got one. This was listed in my room amenities so it shouldn't have been an issue to get one for me since there wasn't one in the room.I asked the reception lady if she could enquire if there were any seats left on the shuttle even though it was only 1 days notice and she flat out refused to check for me and shoved the public bus maps at me twice. Nice hotel but cannot say I enjoyed my stay.

The cocktails at the bar were extremely good and the beachfront location is very convenient but the staff with amazing Floriane is the best part of the hotel!

parking capacity is only 4. Pool cafe serves food for a very long time. ordered a chicken burger which was terrible

Good variety at all meals. Lovely fresh fruit and deserts. Cake for our celebration was amazing!

More coffee machines needed. Long queues for coffee so didn't bother. More mugs! Some food was lacking in quality. At breakfast, the lady cooking eggs was amazing but needs help!

This is only a minor thing but the queues at breakfast for coffee were generally quite long. Perhaps it would be good to invest in an additional coffee machine

I didn’t know what to expect when I booked because I didn’t know this hotel chain, so when I arrived I realized it was an average hotel with old style furnishings and bed not so comfy. But on the next day I was surprised with the cleanliness of my room, with the amazing breakfast with plenty of good selections, also dinner which was included was good, and the staff at the reception and restaurant are the best!! The beach is beautiful but crowded. Couldn’t find shades and chairs so I had to buy umbrella and a chair which was good because I could choose where to sit. The surroundings are simple, nothing outstanding, as I was going to spend 10 days it turned boring so I moved to another beach and could cancel the rest of my staying at no cost.

The swimming pool area could be better.

You cant get a better location, right on the beach near plenty of restaurants and shops. Wonderful facilities, very nice hotel bar area and restaurant area. Room is spacious with an excellent balcony overlooking the sea and pool. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Certainly one of the best we have had. Every single thing you can think of was available and very fresh.

The desk staff on check in (named Marc) made the process very painful, he kept asking for a pdf file for our reservation. I didn't have one. I showed him the booking reservation email on my phone but he said he needed a pdf file or a paper document. I have never had anything like this occur, most place don't ask for anything but if they do it is usually just the confirmation number. After the 15 minute ordeal we got checked in but the room didn't have air conditioning and the weather was very hot.
