Bardi was a delight. Ca del Grano was a delight. The owners of our accommodation were a delight. The local restaurant was a delight. This was a perfect stay. There is a significant connection with South Wales in Bardi. Everyone was so friendly. The countryside was beautiful. The castle was interesting and spectacular.

Excellent location and setting. Very rustic property restored to a very high standard. The owner was very accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast, extensive choice.

Our stay at Ca del grano was great, and nice location by the castle walls. Friendly welcome, the set up with having entrances outside to the rooms is really nice. The rooms were a good size (we were worried as they were called small doubles but more than big enough!). VERY comfy beds. The mini bar included was a nice touch and replenished each day. Wifi was strong!!! The shower was great. Breakfast was tasty and had a great continental selection (chocolate cake - delicious). We can't wait to come back and have already booked it.

The location of the hotel is hard to beat. But then any location in Bardi is hard to beat... The breakfast was awesome.

When we arrived at 5pm - there was nobody at the hotel. Nobody. All the doors locked, no people anywhere. Only after we called hotel - a receptionist showed up 5 minutes later. Then the room didn't have a/c. And it's hot in Italy in summer. From the website you might get the impression that it's a busy hotel with bar and restaurant functioning during the day/night... Not the case. Bar is not functioning, everything is closed and deserted after breakfast. No bar. And you have to call and wait to even check-in... And no, it wasn't August. July. Luckily there is a great restaurant 2 steps away - Two Spades. But if you want to chat in a bar after dinner - out of luck

Loved the rooms/decor, and historical stone buildings next to the castle.The staff were forwarding thinking, and setting up the baby crib (i forgot to request one) was so very much appreciated I cant begin to explain it how happy i was to see it. And breakfast was generous and delicious!

Nothing. Everything better than expectations. Unfortunately, unrelated to this business, the castle was closed to vistors when we were there. And the weekly market in the parking lot got me a parking fine.

The authenticity of the rooms, the vicinity of the Bardi castle, the gentil village habitants and the friendly staff

No air conditioning, only a ventilator. But it was an exceptional warm weekend

The location was very picturesque and the quality of the accommodation was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to make us all feel welcome .

The room was perfect. They truly thought of everything, a lovely little fridge for drinks through to cottonwool balls for makeup removal.Breakfast was amazing.
