Location and price As nice as a nearby well known spa hotel we stayed at for about half the price

Great location and friendly staff.

The lighting. It was all motion sensor in the halls and was not on long enough. Great to not waste electricity but please set them just a bit longer?

Sweet family, super friendly and welcoming. The hotel location is completely central right next to Bar Italia which is the life of the village.

Good place for short stay, close to the popular bar with music and restaurant. Free parking at the street.

Cleaning and comfortably

Even though it is very close to the airport, it's impossible to go walking and the taxis are too expensive for driving 5 minutes.

A lovely little hotel with friendly owners and staff. Good location, clean room. Pet friendly with a reasonable small cleaning fee.

It is a bit outdated but improvements are on its way.

We got a really warm welcome from the hosts and found our room to be spotlessly clean. We got to know the hosts a little more and hear about their plans to renovate the hotel - it's a big project but we are sure they'll turn this into a beautiful space! Everything was very clean and tidy, the shower was good and the facilities much as you would expect from a budget hotel. We loved having sheets as well as a duvet. I prefer a soft pillow so if you are picky about pillows, it might be good to request a soft one (wish I thought of that!). Good luck with the renovations, there is so much potential here.

I found the bed too hard - but it's probably fine for most people - I suffer from sore hips and really need lots of padding on the bed. Generally I find hotel beds uncomfortable and this is definitely one of the better ones I have (not) slept in, so don't let this put you off.

This hotel has a great soul. It's perfect complement for visiting and tasting the history of Italy and Bagni di Lucca. Everything fits perfectly. And you have a lot stuff to do in this area. Marvelous mountains, cute villages, the river and not so far to visit the sea. You won't be boring and in the same moment you will avoid the huge number of tourist. At this moment place belongs to a very nice lady, whose bought it from older Italian gentleman, so she speaks English and she's very helpful. The place is maybe old but very clean. You won't regret the time you spent there.

The room smelled of damp

Nice little hotel lovely staff who made me feel really welcome. I felt they could not do more to make my stay perfect. Hotel is right in the heart of the town. There is a bar and a restaurant next door bar opens all day and until midnight. Nice room with all facilities, hotel is abit dated but that adds to its charm.

The room was abit cold, it was early October and starting to get cold but the heating was not on

Very retro hotel. Nostalgia overload, loved it. Full of character. The owner is very friendly and appears to be a near solo operator.

Park slightly further down the river to avoid the pointless hour limit, that no one is enforcing.

Classic family run Italian hotel, friendly helpful staff.

Room 24 is a treat for the eyes, with an exuberant view. Excellent staff and welcoming atmosphere.

Breakfast....and the rooms at the front overlooking the square suffered from noise at night....

We choose this hotel for the location which was ideal for us. The hotel is dated and in need of a lick of paint. That said the rooms and facilities were very clean and for the price we paid I have no complaints. All of the staff were pleasant and friendly. I would recommend if you are on a budget.

The location and room was perfect for my needs, bed linen and towels pristine received a welcome to Italy text from Franci who was in reception when I arrived and couldn’t have been more pleasant. There was a fridge in the landing if you wanted to store drinks etc altho I didn’t need it, it was only a brief stay and I felt it was exceptional value.Bar Italia right next door with the most delicious pastries/ cakes and friendly staff very reasonable prices and seemed to be a popular local hub.

Only a small issue my euro adapter didn’t work in the room I was in so was unable to charge my phone, I’m sure if I asked at reception they would have helped me but didn’t need to ask as I charged my phone in Bar Italia whilst enjoying their lovely coffee and pastries ??

Location

Hotel was probably top notch when built but is now in need of doing up. Quite a run down feel, outdated.
