Pros +

• The hotel is located in a idyllic and quiet environment. Very beautiful lake infront where you can walk around. A small playground for kids is avaiable as well as several opportunities for people with an active lifestyle. The Hotel itself must have been a stunning place 30 years ago.
• Nice location, good breakfast

Cons -

• Unfortunately our stay was not pleasant at all. At arrival the older lady at the reception did not understand that we prepaid our stay in advance via booking.com and insisted to pay again the full price (instead of 8 tourism tax left which had to be paid on site). Had to argue with her for almost an hour that the money was paid and not just blocked. It is clearly visible in their booking account. It did not help that it was impossible to have a reasonable conversation in english despite the hotels claim that they speak english. The room: Booked a deluxe room but got a chamber with furniture which exceeded its lifetime. Dirty carpet, clogged sink, AC but no remote for it, very noisy bathroom fan. Wanted to change room and went down to the reception - which is open until 20:00 - at 18:30 just to get informed that the lady already went home. Next day same happened again. Its also worth mentioning that the room WAS NOT CLEANED A SINGLE TIME while our stay of 4 nights. That is just inacceptable. At evening we went down to the restaurant (open 7d/week) for dinner but: "we are closed, sorry!" In the morning at 09:00 construction work with lots of hammerdrill noises started somewhere near our room. Probably fixing something related to the "spa". At our stay neither the sauna nor the spa was working. None of these limitations were mentioned while at reservation and they did not lower the price in any way. When talking to the manager, he did not take it serious but was kind of ignorant. All he had to say was platitudes and that we just say these things because we are annoyed. This was by far the worst experience ever. Not only because of the numerous false claims but also the attitude of various employees and the manager himself.
• In the room was an incredible high humidity and the smell of the washable paint was unbearable. You couldnt open the window because of the mosquitoes and also I didnt have a remote for air conditioner . When you take a shower you make a whole lake in the bathroom.
