- The availability of the staff was great! I booked while I was in Switzerland, so the booking arrived too late to the hotel. However they managed to welcome me and give me a room. They were so kind! The hotel itself is really nice. Very close to the highway. There is also a small spa inside that looks really nice. We were in a hurry, so we hadn't the chance to try it. Next time I hope I'll have time to explore a bit more!
- Very nice hotel in a quiet village - very peaceful after a long day of driving. Good access to the motorway. Staff were very kind and helpful and the food was excellent! My room was clean and comfortable, and very quiet.
- Not much
Cons -
- Minor things - the restaurant closed at 8.30 which is a bit earlier than I am used to. However once I had ordered there was absolutely no rush to leave the restaurant and I ate a rather delicious meal at leisure. My other minor niggle was the shower - it was placed in the bath and with advancing years I find myself a little unsteady sometimes when I have to climb over the edge of the bath. But these were minor issues in what was otherwise a very pleasant stay.
- Rooms were in very modern annex, clean and comfortable but no character. But the hotel did not provide the usual level of service. We were pressured to finish breakfast at 9 am, there were no other bars or reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance. If all one wanted was a bed at night fine. The establishment is not fairly represented by the advertisement. Do not expect people sitting outside or in the bar having a drink after travelling.
- It was not possible to communicate using English at the restaurant.Room and bathroom quite age-worn for a 100€ rate.

Bedroom, bathroom facilities, calm.
Close to the airport, easy check in, Breakfast was ok
Great location if travelling through either by air or road, Bartenheim is a lovely town also.
Lack of vegetarian options at the restaurant, although what we did eat was very nice.
Good location. Very clean comfy bed and pillows. Good breakfas.
Restaurant closed Monday and Tues, set menu provided but very limited.
It’s a small family owned hotel and has this nice guest house vibe. The staff was quite friendly even if communication was difficult. They were quite accommodating with my early check-in.
It was a pain to speak to the people. The hotel advertises English as one of its languages but sadly there was only one employee speaking English. If this employee was not available it was hard and imprecise when talking. An employee came into my room without knocking when I was naked after showering. The hotel advertises itself as a SPA hotel but I was unable to use it since the spa was only open from 16:00 to 20:00 and only upon request.
Very friendly owner, whose English was on a par with my French. Almost non existent. But, in spite of this was very accommodating and helpful.
No tea/coffee in room.
Perfect for our onward travels , helpful staff and good food.
-Good transit hotel-We were able to check in a little earlier than possible
-Not overly welcoming staff. Had to ask for basic information at reception myself-Hammam was not working-Too few towels (or none) in the rooms. No extra towels in the spa-Restaurant was full. Big focus on restaurant revenue rather than upgradinng or customer service in the hotel
The hotel is located relatively close to the motorway. We had a very good room with a great bed, shower and airconditioning. The hotel also has a very good restaurant where we had a very nice dinner outside on the terrace.
A nice big room that was very clean. We liked the fact that there was a lift.A special huge thank you to the guys who opened the gate for our car (having a new roof top car storage, our car was a few centimetres higher than the maximum allowed height). You saved our holidays!
The staff was friendly and tried to speak English. The hotel has a restaurant and the food was really good. The hotel has free parking and is dog friendly.
Unfortunately, we found that the bathroom had some mould on around the tub. The rooms don't have air-conditioning, so also we found it hard to sleep since it was really warm when we stayed over. Rooms are very basic and kind of old.
clean and modern hotel right in the charming town centre
the town roads become noisy early in the morning, not hotel fault but with windows open in the summer we could not sleep even with ear plugs
Modern hotel with large room and comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Staff was helpful. Adjacent restaurant was very good. Breakfast was also good.
Can't think of anything.
Parking and situation were perfect for our needs
The bathroom had not been cleaned adequately and showed signs of the previous occupants!!
clean , easy access to continue trip , flexible & customer friendly . We arrived late 850 pm just before kitchen closed after a long rainy trip with 4 kids and they accepted to give us a table at the restaurant for dinner . Entrecôte with fries & salad which was exactly what we were looking for . Its the perfect stop when you need to get to Italy . Close to Swiss border , pharmacy , butcher & backery on same round about . Rooms clean . Perfect family room with 4 beds for each kid .
I wouldn’t say not like but maybe breakfast should offer one a plant based milk variety as the coffee comes from machines self service with automatic milk powder .For croissants & pain au chocolat you must ask for more as very small basket but they replenish
Very good accomodation in all aspects. The restaurant can be considered a bonus, having dinner there should not be missed (booking required)! Breakfast is also good (but not great, like the dinner). All staff were very very friendly and helpful.
It was hot in the room, no air condition or fan, although this is typical in these parts of Europe.
