Luxury Hotel Siófok

I had an amazing experience during my stay! Before arriving, I had seen some mixed reviews, so I was a bit nervous—but everything turned out to be wonderful.The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. As someone who runs a cleaning company and works with hotels, I naturally notice every detail of cleanliness (even when I try not to think about work!). From a professional point of view, I can confidently say that the housekeeping team did an excellent job—everything was perfectly maintained.The public areas were also very clean and well-kept, which really adds to the pleasant atmosphere of the hotel.I’d also like to mention the receptionist—she was kind, always smiling, and spoke English very well, which made the check-in process smooth and welcoming.The breakfast and dinner were fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options, and I truly enjoyed spending time at the swimming pool too.A big thank-you to everyone working there for their professionalism and kindness. My stay was wonderful, and I’ll definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back!

The furniture was nice, the layout of the hotel was also great. The food was nice, but nothing exceptional

The inside of the room was cleaned properly, however the windows and the balcony looked like it hasn't been cleaned for months, they were full of spider webs (and also MASSIVE spiders).In the wellness area only one of the pools were functional and the bar on the top floor was closed, its outer sitting area was also covered in spider webs. The hotel also didn't have a terrace where you could smoke or enjoy coffee, we had to smoke in front of the building with no accomodation.

Great location, good reception employees, hotel parking...

No cleaning rooms every day, restaurant staff do not speak English, problems with opening windows...

There is no noise isolation in the hotel. The cleaning staff were having a good time at 7:30 in the morning, so I asked them two times if they could lower their voice volume .( could not ) Then, after I complained to their manager, I overheard the manager telling them, " Some people just can't wake up in the morning." Unacceptable behaviour ? The shower head was spreading water everywhere and releasing black mould from the hose. I'm concerned about if they check the water quality as it could be contaminated with legionella or any other harmful bacteria. As well in the spa !We paid half board. On arrival at the hotel we have been told that breakfast is from 8 to 10 AM and dinner is from 6 to 8 PM. Once we could not eat breakfast at 9:20 as it was only 3 peace of pastry was available and once we had problem with dinner at 7PM where was only one portion of meat was available what my husband ate and I only could eat soup. (the restaurant staff did not even asked if they can prepare something for us)The waitresses most of the time were outside in the parking area, smoking, so we could only order a drink for dinner when we were almost finished to eat. One staff member complained all the time to her colleagues about the guests and made jokes about them.I don't want to continue. I'm Hungarian, my husband is not, so I felt shame about the behaviour and attitude of the staff as well the hotel quality. We were in our honeymoon.

i like rooms. they were clean and comfortable.

food ran out quicky and they brought it after some time or not at all. the pool is very small and the saunas are on the hallway so you dont have any privacy.

Great location, next to the beach. Good breakfast and great dinner buffet. Very spatious room with balcony. We have been Very happy with the stay at the hotel.

The only thing we were dissapointed in was, that they did not open the bar at the top floor according to the oppenig hours.

cheap and dirty

The hygene was below standaard, sheets on the bed were to short, de bed itself had dirty stains. The room wasn't cleaned during our stay, just the towels switched and the bin cleaned but that's all.The restaurant wasn't clean, when someone left the table they throw the crumbles from previous persons on the ground and didn't even replace the eat mats under the plates

Very nice and renewed building, very spacious apartments with large balcony.

We got a room with 2 single beds due to availability and for me the mattress was way too soft.

Location. Big parking.

Cold food, untasty food. Not clean. Staff can't speak fluently forign language.

The restaurant was great and specifically the restaurant staff is super kind.Had good foods there, the half-board had a great selection. The drink prices are okay too.

It would be a great hotel, but the wellness section is absolutely worthless as there is continuous screaming and shouting and the kids are continuously jumping into the pool right next to people.Also there is no lifeguard or pool attendant present.Gets an extra minus due to when we told this at the reception, the blonde, short hair lady with glasses did not even understand why it is a serious problem at a place where people go to relax.She did not do much about it altogether.Not to mention that it is going to be a serious issue for the hotel as well, when a kid gets injured due to this.Wellness is not equal to beach or kids pool.I do not feel that this place would keep the wellbeing of paying customers wishing to relax, in front of their eyes.Eventually when we brought it up at the reception when we were leaving, they promised that they will get back to us with a compensation for these issues.

Food was excellent, also the staff was very helpful and friendly.

I think the wellness part might be bigger and one of the saunas did not work.

Dinner was not tasty. Cold watter in wellness. Weird smell in the room and bathroom.

Other than the view nothing!

We stayed at this hotel 4 nights the end of september. The room was very spacious the view was spectacular but that was it!The bathroom were moldy and not very clean. Everything outdated. The towels were small and stains on it. The shower head were broken. The sheets and pillow cases were clean but the mattress was very uncomfortable, barely slept and was disgustingly stained look like blood! The outdoor terrace was nice but the mosquito net was ripped, the coushons on the chairs were ripped and dirty stained! I wish we just have demanded our money back and left after the first night. Just terrible. Such a shame because the location is perfect. Nothing luxorious about this hotel!! Stay away!!

We didn't like it.

We visited the hotel in the off season (we still had good weather), but this is not excuse for everything. The bar wasn't open, the game room was poorly equipped and also a the things were broke. The meals were also poor. There were 2 infa sauna and one steam cabin, but only one infra sauna worked. One pool was open, the other one was closed. We had ants and spiders in our room.

The accommodations were tidy. The location is great. It was near the edge of Lake Balaton.

Room was with enough space, comfortable to put bicycles on the terrase - good solution.

DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE - HONESTLY. Where to start.. roof bar is a nightmare - is almost not existing, opening hours only 4-10 p.m, lack of staff even in working hours - there was simply NOBODY to serve you, room service of the hotel - zero - cleaning for whole 4 days - at the end they told us, we must say that we want room service for cleaning? C´mon..., at the end we had extra cleaning on the invoice, nobody was able to explain why - money refunded.., restaurant service - terrible, they closed at 9 pm, just to bring other colleagues into the restaurant area, closed main door and had their own "party" with food and music.. dinner every day available but drinks must be paid separately by guests - I mean even the soft drinks. There should be a water on the table - but one big bottle for every visitors of dinner area - so very often, no water available. Wellness? Horrible, dirty swimming pool that was not cleaned for weeks I would say, no towels, no service downstairs. Sauna - damaged floor, not functioning since door could not be closed properly on both available saunas, so you had leakage of temperature - hell. I can continue with many other points but do not want to loose time. Feel an obligation to tell the true and warn others, this hotel looks perfect on photos and presentation - but reality is far far away from good feeling of the time you spent there.

Huge room size, bathroom was also larger than average, everything very clean.

Room fridge was pretty small, also wellness facilities were quite limited, sauna not working properly. Breakfast and dinner were very basic, somehow expected a bit more options on menu.

The location is perfect. The staff friendly. The food delicious

From inside the hotel has seen better days and is poorly managed in terms of cleanliness.

We stayed only one night, but we were very happy with this experience. The hotel is easy to find, the room was very spacious and confortable, hudge terrace and windows facing the Balaton lake, perfect temperature inside. The staff was very kind. We had Halfboard included (dinner and breakfast) and we were very satisfied with both - varied and tasty.
