    Pros +

    • fantastic food selection
    • The rooms are nice, with a balcony. Cleaning staff are very cordial and the room gets cleaned every day. Includes entry into the thermal baths which we enjoyed. On the Saturday of our stay we were invited to a garden party with snacks and wine and beer which was very nice and appreciated. Thank you
    • The food is very delicious, the staff is friendly, and the place is clean.

    Cons -

    • they need more people speaking english
    • The food quality has grown way down over the years we have been coming here. The buffet is full of overcooked sub par food and you can tell this by the amount of food being left on the plates. There is a lack of fresh food. It’s all the same every day.

We stayed in the west wing and it was everything we asked for. The price includes the entrance fee to the thermal baths next door but not the sauna. We paid 3200 forint per person per day for the extra sauna. I asked the hotel to put in a kettle and 2 mugs in the room for us and they had it ready for us at check in. We are very grateful for that. The beds are comfortable, the bedding is nice and there was daily housekeeping with fresh towels.

The bathtub that you have to step in for a shower is super slippery and I hurt my knee slipping, when I got in. A non slip Matt would be appreciated

We have known the Hotel ex Répce (east Wing) for few years now. The rooms have been very nicely renovated. The food was delicious as always and there's a wide range of meal choices (buffet style). The employees are very helpful and welcoming to the guests. The hotel is very clean. The spa entry is very simple using covered glass hallways. I appreciate the employees doing their best to speak English, German and Czech to best accommodate their guests. It's a great hotel and we will definitely return, but as we all go to a spa to relax and unwind, we should be mindful of the other guests.

The beds were a little too soft for my liking and the pillow was a bit too hard. But that is my personal taste and other guests may prefer soft beds. The bathroom only has a walk-in shower and no tub, which wouldn't be an issue. However the glass door is too short and if you have anything near the shower while you're in it, it will get wet. Sliding doors would be a more suitable style. The number of uncooperative Czech tourists soured our vacation experience. The restaurant inappropriate clothing (flip-flops, socks, sweatpants, tank tops, etc.), messy dining, loud noises and extreme misuse of the all-inclusive bar was likely not possible for the employees to control. I would appreciate a more stern approach from the employees when it comes to warning guests.

Food perfect, staff very helpful. The smiling young blonde at the bar was great...

Perhaps a daily bottle of water in the room would be appropriate.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, excellent food. The only thing that spoils the experience is a group of boorish Czechs who act like they own the place, are loud, address the staff informally, and insist on speaking only Czech.I was ashamed to be from the same nation.

We had stay All inclusive, there was still enaugh of food and srinks. Free sauna in hotel was also pleasing. The staf was nice.

Bigger capacity in Lobby bar. After diner is Lobby quicly fool and there is not posible to find table and chair. At lunch and diner I mised lokal hungarien meals.

Good position close to the thermal spa.

Lot of dust in the room (presidential apartment). The minibar was not refilled untill we have asked for. The shower gel in the bath was not refilled when got empty. The matress in the bed was really worn (once again - in the presidential apartment)

Love the friendliness of the staff, the location to the baths and the amenities. The all inclusive option was fantastic.

The room was a little small. Also the heating rack in the bathroom didn’t work and there wasn’t enough towels.

The location is great, connected to the thermal baths, No need to exit the hotel to get there. The food was very nice, the staff were very friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I would definitely visit it again!

Easy and fast access to the spa.

Food offer was nothing exceptional, ecpecially for lunch and dinner, breakfast was OK. Quality of non-alcoholic drinks as juice and coffee was very very poor.

Direct connection to the adjacent spa, renewal of room equipment, which, however, did not improve the comfort of the stay in all aspects, service in the wellness area, even if only in one. There is not much at the former quite high level anymore.

THAT the overwhelming majority of the hotel quality criteria have been steadily declining for quite a long time. The professional level of the receptionists is getting worse year by year, the service in the dining room is getting more amateurish year by year, the menu in the dining room is getting poorer and poorer, while five or ten years ago there was a drink menu on every table with an offer of various wines, beers and soft drinks, at least now nothing like that for two years or more and the question is whether you want white or red, origin unknown, brand not mentioned. Where are the days when the cook prepared egg omelettes in the morning and pancakes and grilled meat in the evening, in the evening there was real ice cream and not the watery dregs served now. A topical example of decay is the fritter machine - something completely embarrassing. The renovated bathrooms with almost no hangers in the East Wing are also an example of quality management. Reduced offer in "renovated" wellness in both wings is also worth mentioning here.

The location was excellent. We were able to walk over to the thermal baths without going outside. The food was top notch, as it was the last few times I stayed before it was Hunguest. They must have kept the chef.

I had good wifi in my room, but the signal went in and out, mostly out, for my friend at the end of the West building. Very frustrating when the hotel is supposed to provide connectivity. Staff was mostly indifferent. It would have been nice to have a clock and coffee maker in the room, even a cheap hotel in the US provides that. We checked in at the West building, but had to go all the way over to the East building to check out. Makes no sense...aren't they on the same computer system???

The mineral pools were wonderful. The dining, breakfast and dinner, was excellent. The location is delightful. It is good that pool shoes are available in the gift shop. The steam room and sauna are very hot. Plan on sticking to the guidelines for use.

The walk from the hotel to the pools was a little long. It would be nice if pool shoes were provided. Some of the areas around the pool can get very slippery.

The hotel has a great location - it has a direct connection to the spa. Entrance to the spa is included in the accommodation price, as many entrances are free as you stay at the hotel. The hotel has two buildings. We were in the west wing, there are rooms with slightly older equipment. Still clean, spacious and comfortable.

Most of the staff are pleasant and helpful. But we had one very unpleasant waiter (a bald man) who behaved very impolitely during dinner, shouted loudly and charged for drinks that he did not bring. Such people unfortunately spoil the overall impression of an otherwise pleasant stay.
