Hotel Sandhof

This boutique hotel is an absolute gem and terrific value. It is centrally located in Lech with a short walk to several ski lifts and bus stops. I found my Deluxe room well appointed, modern and spacious. I loved the bathroom's deep soaking tub and the balcony with a view. The hotel's common areas are cozy and convivial, a nice place to hang out after a day on the slopes. I especially enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace in the bar area where the guests meet, play games and socialize prior to dinner. It was very easy to be a solo traveler in this friendly hotel. The breakfast buffet is generous and the four-course dinners are outstanding, equivalent to Michelin one-star. After enjoying my first dinner at the hotel, I saw no reason to dine elsewhere! The hotel has an excellent small spa with a Finnish hot sauna (85C!), steam room, cold rain shower and relaxation area. WiFi is strong. I very much appreciated all of the kind hotel staff who made me feel very welcome.

Everything was just PERFECT! Dedicated staff, delicious gastronomic offer, nice ambience, spacious and confortable roomWith bathtub and separate area for the kids. Great location, a few steps from Bahn and perfect distance from the party area, so you can walk and enjoy apres-ski, but not suffering the music on your room.

A lot ! Excellent family run hotel , Martin and the staff were fantastic - could not have asked for a better service from them . Dinner each night was a gastronomic feast , supported by a breakfast of copious choice. Location next to the main cable lift is perfect . Ski room , with heated boot rack and sauna room were ideal .

The only small quibble I had was that the dinner menu was a fixed 4 course menu. That was often too much for me - I would have preferred to be able to have selected less courses. Hence my slight downgrade on the Value for Money rating. Also the wine list is exceptional- but the choice of wine by the glass was quite limited , and did not include any higher end wines. As a single traveller I would have liked the opportunity to be able to order a glass of some of the more exceptional wines.

Convenient and cozy rooms close to restaurants and within walking distance from the ski lift.There is a small fireplace in the lobby where you can relax, if you wish.

The hotel was so cosy and the staff was amazing.Food was good and all in all a good experience.Very clean :)

The facility is very clean and modern. I really like the shower and the heated bathroom floor. The bed is on the soft side and the sheets feel and smell amazingly clean. The location is on the main street with garage parking nearby and free! The meals available at the restaurant were healthy and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was closed on Sunday evening for a private event outside, but I was not allowed to sit at the bar area for drinks. Not a deal breaker but I was hoping to have a cozy meal in the building after a long day hike.

the bathroom is so small that only 1 person can stand.they charge 25 euro per day per dog (??) and the dog is not even allowed in the restaurants which is basically nothing more then a simple dining area
