    Pros +

    • We arrived at hotel in a rainy cold day but we got instantly warm by the heart-warming host. Facilities are top-notch and location is perfect for a mountain escape vacation
    • The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms felt more modern than the photos give away which was really nice. We had a studio and a hotel room and the kitchen was well equipped for self catering on one of the nights. The pizzeria next door is a bit of a hidden gem too. The hotel is super well maintained in a traditional style. The most noteworthy part, that a lot of the reviews also speak of is Bridget (the host) is exceptional. Her care for the family business is outstanding and she couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommend and would love to return.
    • Very friendly owner. Birgit so helpful. Well situated next to a great restaurant and the main bus terminal. Spotlessly clean, lively sauna and practical ski kit room. The breakfast was excellent. Everything anyone would need.

    Cons -

    • It was great.
    • Nothing special , the breakfast could offer more choices but it's a matter of taste . The spa is underground so there is no garden escape.
    • There is no bars, no lot of restaurants close to the Hotel in summertime just 18 minutes away.

The service was amazing! Front desk staff was extremely helpful and provided us with all the information we needed to ensure a smooth stay. When myKeys got locked in the car they were quick to help and assist with calling a service to fix the situation and unlock my car. Can’t wait to come back!

Great value for money, cozy spa area, tasty breakfasts. Super close to the gondolas.

There isn't anything to dislike, really.

A wonderful hotel. The hostess of the hotel is very attentive, she paid attention to all the guests at Christmas, took us to a city performance, treated us to hot drinks. Everything in the hotel is organized perfectly. Very clean. 5 minutes walk to the ski lift. The ski resort is the best of all in this region. We will definitely come back.

Such a great location for us, near the ski lift and also near the river for beautiful walks with our dogs.Comfortable and the host could not be more welcoming

This was one of the best hotels we ever stayed in. The rooms were nice and modern and everything was well though out and practical. It was obvious that someone put a lot of thought into making the rooms as comfortable as possible and not only nice looking. The view was also great from our room and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming also giving us lots of tips on what to do in the area or where to go for dinner. Breakfast was very tasty.

    10TychoPosted on: 9-30-2023

Very helpful and attentive staff. Offered proactive advice on my hiking cabin tour which was well appreciated. Very nice sauna with amenities. Breakfast is good with personal service and a good location with a bus stop right in front. Radio in the shower!

Room a bit small but efficiently put together.

    Good breakfast, comfortable bed.

We booked 2x Superior Double rooms. One room was a spacious apartment with a little hall and kitchen with seating. Second room was tiny with just a double bed in it. It was ok for 2 nights, we just didn't understand why two completely different rooms have the same name and price...

    9MaroniaPosted on: 8-2-2023

Everything!!!! The rooms were not modern but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, with the choice of eggs prepared just for you. We had to take our kids everyday for their snowboarding session at Hintertux and the hotel was close enough. The Host helped us in everything we asked and that alone made our holiday a special one!!

The only thing that I did not like doesn't concern the hotel. It was the restaurants in the village. To have some variety of food we had to go every evening to Mayrhofen. It is only about 15 minutes drive but when you are tired they seem like an eternity. In Tux you will find pizzas, burgers and Austrian Food. But no Italian restaurants, good steak houses etc and when you stay 5 nights you will seek some variety.

    10AdiPosted on: 7-17-2023

A beautiful hotel. Everything in the room was brand new, from the furniture to the carpet and bathroom. Excellent breakfast with a variety of food choice. Birgit, our host, was more then kind and helpful with planning activities, things to do and places to eat. It was a delight to be a guest at her place.
