Great location on the ring road, very nice spacious room with a balcony, wellness spa with pool, steam room, sauna's and more, large number of items in breakfast buffet and a reasonably priced restaurant with good local food.

Hotel is looking tired, worn seating, areas closed off with furniture piled up and facilities such as Spa, pool table not in use. Front of hotel is now occupied by a bank and areas also given over to a dentist’s facility

A hotel worthy of a renovated past, a piece of old European charm! A dedicated staff attentive and very helpful for your logistics (car rental). At the foot of the old town, spacious and well-heated rooms.

The lighting at the back of the entrance hallway, a little dark and forgotten.

Nice classic hotel in the center of Sopron

The hotel has an excellent location in the middle of the city. The private parking was working well. The packed breakfast for takeaway was delicious as well. There was a nice staff in general.

1. The neighbors were a bit loud during the first night.2. There was a lack of a fridge (however, the terrace did the job during the winter).3, Beds, in terms of breaking your finger because it was inevitable to kick in the frame for some reason multiple times.

The reception and the breakfast room where like being in a palace, instead of our room that it was like being in a 2* hotel. Very nice location close to the old city. Safe closed garage for the car.

Although they knew that in our group was a person with movements disabilities the room we were given had a bathtub so tall that it was difficult to get in even if you were absolutely capable.

Beautiful old hotel in the centre, with spacious rooms with a beautiful view over the street, but still very quiet. The bed was quite comfortable, we slept really well. And the breakfast buffet was delicious! The employees are very nice and attentive and they speak English and German too. We booked the room with a seasonal discount, so I don't know if I would pick the same hotel when they are at full price (as stated, it IS an old hotel, so some minor things are not in absolutely perfect shape - though they didn't bother us at all), but overall the experience was great!

Great central location easy to walk to all main tourist attractions and public transit whether bus or train.very large comfortable room, beautifully decorated, quiet. Fast elevator. excellent variety at breakfast.great value for your money. very helpful staff.

Having a restaurant on site for dinner time would have been helpful.Our double bed was two Singles put beside each other. this is typical however these were on wheels and they kept moving away from each other.

Apart from the coffee it was a good breakfast. Staff were pleasant and good location.

Close to old town and train station. Beautiful building outside. Large room.

The building is being renovated and you cannot use most of it, such as using the back stairs as the ornate stairs are blocked off, the spa is not open yet, you have to walk across wires and the room was very musty smelling.

Friendly staff, underground parking, good breakfast, and good location.

A hotel with atmosphere and uniqueness. Excellent location close to the old part of the city. The staff is kind and welcoming and ready to help with all their heart. Free coffee and cookies throughout the day.

I'm just sorry that we missed out on the spa as it is being renovated at the moment. But that's just bad timing on my part

Very central location, spacious rooms, and free parking in front of the property.

The walls are not sound proof, and we could hear the noise from the room next door. Breakfast is very basic, and definitely not up to 4* hotels, both in terms of food variety and quality.

Courteous, English speaking staff. Great view from the rooftop terrace. I didn't book breakfast, as I thought it too expensive.

The bathroom smelled like a sewer, seemingly coming from the shower, the exhaust not making a difference. The bar fridge did not work. After requesting it to be fixed or replaced, as I had purchased food that needed to be cooled, the male employee asked me to help him carry the next door working fridge to my room. Of course I obliged, but say no more.

Great old Europe style hotel, clearly in the process of being renovated and renewed. But our rooms were all new and I couldn't hear noise or anything.
