Hotel Palatinus

Perfect location.

The room size (maybe about 9 m2?) and the heating in the bathroom was not working, the TV channels were not working.

Very central and nice location, within the heart of the old city center. We could easily walk to the Fire Tower and other main attractions, as well as to the restuarants. There was a small but lively Christmas Market at walking distance during out stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast had variety and good options. Room (triple) was large and comfortable for 3 of us. Nice touches like chocolate on the beds, lemonade and cookies in the lobby. Taxi access was also easy; haven’t faced issues.

The shower was small. It was just OK for us but I can imagine it being a problem for bigger people. Also the day I checked in, there was strong food smell at the lobby, which got much better for the other 3 days. They may benefit from better ventilation.

Suprisingly well designed and furnished room for a family. All 4 of us had a comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent!

My room was small but comfortable. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the center of Sopron. The staff were very friendly.

Everything, breakfast good, location nice in the old part of the city, garage convenient (in a walking distance)

Rooms are very well equiped. Spatious. New. Air conditioned. Staff is very pleasant and nice. Best bed i ever slept in. Breakfast was satisfactory.

Be carefull with parking - limited number of parking places in the hotel. If you park outside - on the street or underground parking - YOU CAN NOT PAY BY CARD, ONLY CASH IN LOCAL CURRENCY. That was challenging experience for me

The staff was very kind and helpful, The food was fresh, ingredients were very good quality and well prepared. The room was clean and tidy, a little bit smaller than I expected, but as I have traveled alone it was quite enough

Very central and quiet location. The hotel offered a parking (paid, but we were fine with that), which was a nice touch, since you can't park anywhere on the street in the old town. The room was a bit small and basic, but clean, so it was fine for a one night stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

This hotel is in an excellent location, right in the center of things in the old town. It is very clean, the staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful. The staff in the breakfast room are very kind and nice. Breakfast has many choices and many healthy options. The rooms are very clean. The maids were very nice.

One day we had "British" food as an option at breakfast. Please do not do that again.
