A bit too chilly in the room.

This is a unique property that has so much historical ambiance and charm! The rooms are gigantic and spotlessly clean, the beds are very comfortable, the restaurant food is delicious, and the building is very interesting.
Nothing. All was perfect!
A great experience. Well appointed and managed. The meals were great. Comfortable beds and room.
Just realize it’s not easily walkable to the historic centre.
The hotel is converted from a monastery. The whole place is beautifully restored but is very simple and is very quiet. For example, no television anywhere in the whole building. Dinner is included--three courses, beautifully prepared, including soup, main course, and dessert: tasty but small portions. Drinks are reasonable for the quality.A buffet breakfast is good quality, and staff will cook eggs into an omelet or fried or poached. At breakfast quiet Gregorian chants will keep you company. I have stayed here several times and have been very pleased each visit.
Hard to find and almost impossible without a car. A worn few steps just inside the entrance are waiting to trip you for a fall and keep the whole establishment from being fully accessible.
The atmosphere was calm and perfect for a relaxing stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food and calm environment. Comfortable room, spotlessly clean and well-maintained.
This is a beautiful property which just makes you want to relax. It is sooo quiet and just all around wonderful. The room was great and super clean. Breakfast and dinner were good - large portions and good food. We will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for peace and quiet.
No complaints
Because of a very late arrival (heavy thunderstorms and torrential rainfall on the way) I missed dinner in the restaurant, but kitchen staff made up and left a plate of cold cuts and fruit waiting for me. The room was simple but spotless (the hotel is a converted monastery) with unending hot water in the shower. Breakfast buffet was good quality with an omelette cooked to order as well. I have stayed here before and hope to again. Also, in a bit more than an hour you can be in central Vienna if you use the Autobahn.
Steps just inside the door from reception are very worn--a hazard, also keep this hotel from being fully accessible. In a residential neighborhood with difficult access by car.
Excellent food and wonderful facility. We enjoyed the garden and the courtyard. We loved getting information about the monastery and even attended church service Sunday morning.
The steps are steep, but you can take the road to get there.
The whole place is a wonderful ancient monastery converted into a quiet and restful hotel. The rooms are simple but well planned. The dining room is the old refectory with a frescoed vaulted ceiling. At breakfast Gregorian chants play softly in the background. Food is carefully made but portions are a bit skimpy.
Just inside the front door is the original well-worn stone threshold. It is an unexpected tripping hazard. Be careful! Also;. the hotel is hidden several kilometers from the city center in a quiet residential neighborhood and is hard to find,
We love the contemplative atmosphere and the magic of this place. It is amazing! The rooms are simple and elegant, the library is amazing and the restaurant hall is a gem!
Food was delicious, staff very helpful. Very quiet location.
Somewhere to make a hot drink or a kettle in the room would have been welcome.
Calm, special monasterial atmosphere, historical place, large room, well furnished, garden, complexe well renovated, copious breakfast, friendly staff
Was nearly empty
Excellent breakfast! The rooms were spotless and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a beautiful garden and courtyard which guests can use.
We can't fault the property for 2 amenities which we forgot to check for - a refrigerator in the room along with air conditioning. The room was lovely, although the bed was a bit hard.
We booked a spacious room with private bathroom and actually got it - all as planned. The dinner and breakfast are brilliant, just note you have to pay for drinks during dinner, which is not a big deal in the end. Overall suitable for a short stay of 1-2 nights.
The floors in the room were not clean at all, that was somewhat disappointing.
Great location. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Very comfortable stay. Will surely return again!
Unique place. Friendly staff.
A 4 star hotel without AC ? I understand that there maybe limitations because of the historic location. But… it should be clearly stated since AC is a normal expectation at a 4 star. Same for the lack of a TV . It is understandable, but should be clearly stated.
Beautiful accomodation, polite staff, good parking and nice food.
During the heat wave was hot in the room. Mosquito nets and small ventilator were at the room. We left that not all options to visit or at restaurant were told to us cause of EN language.
beautifully renovated in 1719 after the Ottoman destructionand again renovated in ca 2000this Monastery hill ca 70 km from Wien and Bratislava was the bet and most impressive stay in Cemtral Europe we had
poorly signed the road within the town
