Rosslyn Central Park Hotel Sofia

The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The location is perfect - close to a lot of attractions - we did not need a taxi for anything other than the airport. All staff was friendly and willing to assist.

It was a 45th anniversary of my parents wedding, hotel management arranged them with the best room, best ciry view, bottle of wine, sweets and a greeting card from hotel management, perfect.Their response via application was super quick and efficient. Thank you

My room description stated I was supposed to have a bathrobe - I didn't have it. At least slippers were there. Breakfast could be much better for such price. Coffee is bitter, not a good quality. Pillows are very hard and uncomfortable - woke up with sore shoulders and neck

The room has a fantastic view. The hotel's in a good location. Breakfast was good. The house keeping was helpful and polite when we asked them to remove the extra bed. Also they let us leave the luggage there after checkout as our tickets were for late night. That is appreciated.

There is some renovation work going on and so somehow it does not have a 4 star or premium feel. While you walk into the hotel, you need to take the stairs to the 1st floor to get to the lobby and there is no option of a lift. There is a definite musty smell when you enter the corridor to the rooms and the room itself. The room Felt stuffy, so we switched on the AC which didn't seem to do anything at all so we opened the windows and that gave a bit of relief. We had chosen the Panorama room and that meant a beautiful view of the city below. Well, that also meant that we woke up at the break of dawn because the curtains wouldn't close all the way and when we tried, the curtains came off the hooks in places. So overall, sleep was not comfortable partly because of the room feeling stuffy despite the AC and the open windows and partly because by the time the temperature was comfortable it was day break with bright light shining through.

(1) pillows were extremely hard; (2) the heating/AC was deplorable - room was so hot and the window only opened slightly (could only keep open by using towel as a prop); (3) lobby area was too small; (4) restaurant was short-staffed

The hotel was very clean, which I appreciated. However, some of the reception staff were quite rude, which made the experience less pleasant. Additionally, there were no lobbies or comfortable spaces to sit and relax, which was disappointing. While the cleanliness was excellent, the lack of hospitality and amenities made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, we found that the lobby had been moved to the first floor due to renovations, yet there was no elevator to get there. Worse, there were no staff members available to help carry heavy luggage up the stairs, which was incredibly frustrating.Check-in was another disappointment. They refused to accommodate an early check-in under any circumstances, even if the room was ready. After a long trip, a bit of flexibility would have made a much better first impression.Communication with some of the staff was difficult, as their English skills were quite poor. Simple requests became a struggle, making the stay even more frustrating.The restaurant was so small, overcrowded, and staffed with people who didn’t seem particularly welcoming.To make matters worse, the WiFi on the 5th floor was absolutely terrible, disconnecting every 20 minutes. For a hotel that advertises free internet, this was unacceptable.The only positive factor was the location, but honestly, that alone doesn’t make up for the poor service and overall lack of comfort. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Ideal location both towards historic centre and Boyana/Vitosha hike. Panoramic room was spacious, clean and lived up to its name in terms of the views on the city. Good value for money.
