Pros +
- Very convenient property
- Location (brilliant), friendly staff, efficient, room was fantastic
- It's a sparklingly clean, new hotel. Walking distance from everywhere you could possibly want to be. I really liked it.
Cons -
- Functional room i great F&B concept
- Thought breakfast seemed a little expensive so ate out insteadCouple next door were rowing and the karaoke bar was a little loud, but not the hotel's faultThe air conditioning was difficult to work
- The most critical bit of every hotel room - the bed - is weirdly underinvested. Firstly and most worryingly, the mattress does not have a protector. That's very weird and maybe a tad unhygienic. Unless you wash the mattress after every customer? Second, there are only two pillows on a double bed and no pillow selection options AFAIK. Usually hotels exaggerate here and give you 6 or 8, but 4 would have been better.

The modern design, location and viewMost of the staff were pleasant and helpful.
The staff at the reception in the night shift was not helpful, rude and stayed on the phone. We asked for a second set of keys - that’s all. He said to wait for the next morning, while on the phone. The bathroom is spacious but water sprinkle out due to suboptimal design
Best hotel. Clean, great service , modern design . Loved it.
All great, clean, comfortable and friendly staff
No issues
We always use B1 Downtown whenever me and my wife visit Sofia. It is at the heart of everything, clean, has decent elevators, every needed item in a room, they help keeping your luggage before or after your check-in/out for free, it is near paid parking, nice staff who are fluent in English, we always travel in winter and our rooms were always warm, always have hot water.
The room prices gone up pretty much, it was the only reason I gave 7/10 otherwise it is 10/10 for us. This was our 4th or 5th stay, I don’t want to seek somewhere else. Regarding the high prices; I get it, our Motherland Bulgaria may be in a EUR/BGN transition but c’mon, let’s make it decent once again please. There are no other reasons to pass this place. It is very beautiful.
Close to Sofia Vitosha blvd & Serdika metro. Also, close to happy restaurant, and I brought a friend to Bulgaria for the first time so this was a must visit!
Nothing. All good
This is a very clean and modern hotel. It was close to all the attractions around Serdika metro station. We took the metro from the airport and it was only a 3 minute walk to the hotel. Nevsky cathedral is within walking distance. Vitosha Boulevard was only a few minutes walk away. Happy Bar & Grill down the street is very popular and you should get a reservation.
There was not a lot of counter space for the bathroom sink but we managed. :)
Cozy, quiet, newLovely staff
Comfy, clean and great design. Great location.I would come here again.
Location and front desk employees very very nice
Lobby was small, no restaurant or bar or place to hang out after long day
Clean- friendly- good location - safe
Safe, clean great location
I was delighted with the B1. A sleek, modern facility five minutes walking from the Serika metro and various sights, the hotel was exactly what I was looking for. An excellent value, it’s was extremely quiet, spotlessly clean, and well managed. The staff was friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c was welcome after a hot afternoon. Highly recommended.
The adjoining cafe doesn’t have a wide selection and isn’t a great value. While the hotel offers discounted vouchers, it really wasn’t worth the effort/savings. Go elsewhere for breakfast.
Great location- subway, downtown and shopping mall are within walking distance.
When I left the room in the morning, I came back at night only to find that the door was not properly closed(it was open). I panicked a little because I had all my documents in the room. The cleaning staff must’ve not closed the door all the way after they cleaned the room, but luckily nothing was missing. I shared this with the front desk immediately and they didn’t seem to care.
The hotel was new/renovated and clean. Straightforward check in/out process.
The walls were very thin. In fact, so much thin that a phone vibrating in a different room was heard as well as if it was in my room. It also felt a bit cramped up.
I highly recommend this hotel, near Central Street, next to the metro station, cool design, very clean
The location and the hotel/room as a whole.
The bathroom. Glass doors - not the best idea. The lights in front of the bathroom automatically got on along with the bathroom light, so they lit up the room at night.
Great location and our room was really good.
If there was a sauna or pool should be great for long staying or maybe just a nice back garden. No open space - this was the only minus for me. But otherwise is great.
