Aurora Sofia Hotel

The property was very clean and in a great location. The rooms were comfortable, nicely designed, and made for a pleasant stay.

Unfortunately, there seemed to be consistent miscommunication among the staff. We were informed at check-in that breakfast was included, but when we went to breakfast, the restaurant staff said it was not. The front desk then confirmed again that it was included, yet we were ultimately charged for it. This back-and-forth was frustrating and could have been avoided with clearer internal communication.

Extra clean, top interior design, underground garage and very good breakfast

Kinda tricky to exit the underground garage, strongly recomend to exit in reverse backward. Not Something You cannot do if your're experienced driver. Else, you can use the outside parking.

I really liked the hotel. It is a quiet boutique hotel, not located in the very center, but everything is within about a 20-minute walk. There is a nearby metro station, the service is lovely, the breakfast is fresh and constantly replenished, and the staff is welcoming, polite, and always willing to help.

It’s not that I didn’t like it, it’s just that the location isn’t particularly central, and there isn’t much lighting on the way to the street itself.

The hotel is about a 35 minute walk from Vitosha Blvd, which we didn’t mind because we enjoy walking. The room was efficient with a small refrigerator and an electric kettle.

The cleaning service was unpredictable: some days our room was serviced and some days it wasn’t touched at all. We are very clean people so we don’t need much, just clean towels and restocking of coffee and tea. Also, the room temperature is controlled by the front desk so you need to call down there to have them adjust the temperature as you would like it to be.

a little weird narrow access to parking ( elevator) which is not free, but it was fine having car in the garage

Location in a quiet street, relatively close to the city center (15 minutes walk). Very modern premises.

The rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and variety. The Vitoshka is a within walking distance. This is my third stay here and if I come to Sofia again I plan to stay here once more.

The underground parking could be problematic. Also it’s not free. 15 BGN per night. Think twice if you’re coming with a car or find another parking space close by.

We enjoyed everything. A small, yet very cleverly designed hotel. We didn’t miss anything. Whenever we’re in Sofia, this will be our “base” :-).It’s right next to the city center. Two parking options: an underground garage with elevator access for cars, or outdoor parking. Very attentive staff, always ready and eager to help. A generous and delicious breakfast with great coffee. Everything is designed to ensure comfort.

Everything!!!It starts with communication before the stay - excellent!I asked questions and received answers very fast.The room was great!The hotel looks very nice throughout.The staff was super helpful - we had a problem with our car rental reservation and they helped us very kindly to deal with it (the car reservation was not related to the hotel at all).I would also like to recommend the very nice breakfast operated by super nice emplyees.Our stay was indeed a joy.I wish all hotels would be like that.

The breakfast was fine. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful helped with a power adapter, and calling a restaurant.

Uneven access road to the parking lot. A bit far from the centre.

The hotel is new so it isn’t rated, but hotel is worthy of four or five stars. The bathroom and furniture are well done. The staff were nice and helpful.

The outdoor parking is a little patch of dirt and costs 15 lev/day.

Super easy to get to and parking is perfect. Spotlessly clean.

Nice clean hotel. Walking distance to center lots of shops great parking. Stayed at a few other hotels and this was definitely the cleanest

The hotel was really nice and clean. The bed is comfortable and in general it looked like a new one. The location was not noisy and you could sleep well.
