Pros +
- I enjoyed the size of my room; the bathroom was spacious and the shower was very very nice. I was sad that the spa was closed. The grounds are green and enjoyable to walk and view. The proximity to the mountain is lovely. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind - and showed me to my room when my key was hard to figure out.I felt safe and taken care of. Breakfast was really versatile and plentiful with many choices for anyone visiting. It was a pleasant surprise.
- the room and facilities were mostly clean and well constructed.
- I like the spa.
Cons -
- I wish that breakfast was outdoors in the open and not downstairs in the dark restaurant in the middle of summer. Perhaps allowing guests to take their meals upstairs would be kind. The gym opens at 10 am (way past when my free time to work out is). The pool opens at 9 and closes at 6 which to me makes no sense - as a guest I would like to be able to access the pool at normal hours when I am awake and free, not during the work day.I wish there was luggage service so I would not have to walk on the street to my very far villa.
- Both outdoor and indoor pool have no heating whatsoever and as e result the water is straight up cold. If you go in it for longer than a minute you will go into hypothermic shock. The only acceptable water temperature was in the jacuzzi, and as a result 10 people are trying to squeeze inside at any given time. Also, the room was advertised with "free SPA access" but as it turns out, the outdoor pool area is not included somehow, and you have to pay extra to sunbathe! The room i was in was roomy but the amenities were sub par, especially the supersoft cheap low quality bed mattress that provides zero support, i had trouble falling asleep on that thing, also only one pillow per bed side, what a joke. Also no secure box in the room - small combination locked safe boxes in each room are a must for a hotel in this century! The rooms also lack any soundproofing, so be prepared to hear every noise your neighbors make like they are inside your room.Overall, the usual deal in Bulgaria - if a hotel is marked as 5 star, prepare to be 3 star quality at best. 4 star like this one - 1 star quality.Anything 3 star and below - run away, its a slum shack.
- The room was not what I expected based on the photos and description. It felt smaller than advertised and lacked some of the amenities that were mentioned. Cleanliness was acceptable, but the overall condition of the room seemed a bit worn. While the location was convenient, the room itself did not meet my expectations for the price.

spa was really cool, was a lovely place to spend a night, there was even a wedding there!
Location is really bad, but that's not really on them, there's shopping centers and stuff not far away but the area is UNWALKABLE, it's really hard to get in/out with public transportation. Even getting to the really nice shopping center is a 10 minute walk on the side of a giant highway.
The bed and the bathroom
The TV isn't smart so there's nothing to do in the room
The breakfast was very nice and the spa center too.
The hair dryer didn't work. The sttaff at the reception wasn't very polite and didn't know to provide the essential information, like, where is the nearest bus station, where is the Christmas market in the city. We asked for towels 2 times and they didn't bring them in the room.
Nice breakfast. Good location. Comfortable beds. Gym and sauna. Helpful staff. Clean rooms.
The light inside the bathroom can't be turned off. No glass doors when taking a shower therefore, it gets wet inside the bathroom. Didn't use the spa and pool. Closed already.
I like the Spa, it's not bad at all. Its more or less clean and you have a big pool with saunas.
The staff and service. They just dont care at all about the customer. My room had a broken shower and the water was not draining, it was fixed but they fixed it by displacing some parts which is very short term. The bed was broken on one part and I asked it to be fixed. They said maybe you want another room I said please fix it if you cant let me know and I'll change. Nothing was fixed nor communicated to me about it. Very rude and unatantive staff. The restaurant doesnt have half of whats on the menu. The payment with card was not possible as the machine didnt work I had to pay cash only. Later at checkout I was called at 11am and was told YOU HAVE TO PAY, no good morning btw. I came to reception and had to pay an additional night even-thought I paid all the nights at checkin and then they told me their system is faulty and I didnt have to pay after all. No apologies no greetings you feel very unwelcome like they are doing you a favor to have the honor to stay at this hotel. They dont maidan it at all and in 4 nights I stayed there only 1 time I my room was cleaned. 1 night I asked them and the other I asked them not to clean and the 2 nights I was just ignored. If you want to be a guest and feel welcome dont stay there. The spa is not bad but there are much better spas in Sofia and much closer to center.

The good size of the room, nice garden, fireplace in the bar, renovated spa.
The terrible smell in the bathroom, like in the toilet at punk rock festival. We changed the room, but it didn’t help. No WiFi. Very cold in the room, the old AC is more fan than heater. The food without taste, no choice, no coffee. Sauna without any hygiene rules…Service like “back to USSR”.
The compound is very nice, landscaping inside very well arranged, the room was big. Cleaning every day
Poor breakfastStrange bed, it made a hole in the middle, so you would slide there from both sides. No heat even though at night were 8°. Small towels and you could see their age... Definitely not 4*A little bit far from the center (about 10 km), but it depends from person to person and of interest...
Avoid at All Costs – This place is a disaster. Families beware: CHILDREN ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!
This so-called “hotel” is an absolute disgrace. Almost nothing on their website corresponds to reality. They proudly claim to offer a playground for children — attached is a photo of this pathetic excuse for one. Once you meet the owner, it all makes sense: he despises children and makes it his mission to drive families away.Unfortunately, I had the misfortune of meeting this vacuous man shortly after checking in. Within minutes, he picked a fight with me over my two-year-old daughter, who was simply playing happily in our room for half an hour — not crying, just being a child. According to him, she was “too loud,” and unless she remained completely silent, she would have to leave the villa (each villa has several rooms, by the way, so privacy is hardly a luxury here). His solution? That we either silence her or get out. Tell me, what kind of parent is expected to muzzle a toddler?FYI, he even banned us from returning, which is laughable, since I wouldn’t set foot there again. The man’s rudeness and hostility were beyond shocking. This was not hospitality — it was harassment. Needless to say, I packed my bags immediately and found a proper hotel where guests, including families, are treated with basic respect.Avoid this place at all costs. Unless you enjoy false advertising, hostile management, and being told that children have no right to exist, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.
Territory is good, lots of trees, fresh air, OK pool area.
A bit old, rooms could be cleaner, reception could be more responsive - they could not bring a tea cattle for a day and we only got it next day just because they did not have a right key to get it from.
The place was nice enough for the price.
The spa was closed for repair but that information was not given to us ahead of time. It's the only reason we booked the place. Desk clerk insisted the info is on booking.com but it isn't.
The room was good and the breakfast was good. Garden like grounds and quite. Staff was very pleasant as well.
We were a little disappointed with the spa. There is a nice indoor pool and different types of saunas and we did use and enjoy them. Hard to explain, but it was a little strange that there were only men at the pool/saunas. Only massages available were 30 minute massages and only men masseur.
The rooms were big and comfortable - we had everything we would need. We were in a villa across from the main spa area so it was a short walk to the breakfast and pool/spa area. The staff was nice enough and in general the area was well maintained. The breakfast was not huge but it was really fine. Our shower wasn't draining well on the first night but they were really helpful and nice and sent the maintenance to fix it for the next day.
The rooms had a permeating smell of smoke that keeping the windows open couldn't fix. The area is used also as an event hall and while we couldn't hear the events themselves, there were people talking in the hallways and outside the room until all hours at the night - without any measure of soundproofing (it seems) we were woken up every night. And the people weren't rowdy at all - just regular talking that seemed to be amplified. We were there at the end of spring so anticipated the outdoor pool not being open, but when we were there many of the spa features were not available either. And my sheets were really worn through and had holes in them. It seemed like (based on the very expensive cars of fellow guests) the spa is probably high enough end by Eastern European standards, but it felt a little run down to us. Oh, and you had to walk through an indoor smoking/hooka bar area to get to the restaurant.
Do not recommend, high price for the poor conditions
Very disappointing. The refrigerator didn’t work. Spiders everywhere in the room. Very poor conditions of the room and dirty as well. It doesn’t meet the standards of 4 star hotel. I’m
Only the spa facilities but also some of this was not working and for the massage you have to pay extra.
Was something different in the nature, but because we want out of the season, the property wasn’t as well maintained as in the pictures. Also we go for three days and for tow night and one lunge time, they have private parties because the students celebrate their graduation. Unfortunately they are not inform us before and you were not allowed to use the bar or to spend your time in the property.
There was a problem with the draining in the bathroom but the situation was quickly resolved.
Neither the sink nor the shower drain were working so we had to move to a different room.
Bit dated. Pool great. Good location if driving to airport.
We didn't eat dinner here so can't comment.
