Hotel Calipso Hotel

It was clean. The staff was very friendly and responsive. There is a kind of parking lot. The room itself is very well equipped and everything was working fine.

On the ground level there is a car wash. My room was above it and it was really noisy when a car was washed. That was the only thing that caused me some inconvenience.

Very spatious room, comfortable bed

Smell of cigars

Late check in option Location Parking nearby and free

Could have put some coffee and/or tea bags

Nice staff, ok value

There was black mold in the bathroom and the facilities were overall poorly maintained. The bathroom mirror and other small items were rusty, there were holes in the tile, hand prints on the wall.

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional hospitality I received during my recent stay in Sofia. When I arrived, I was met with an unexpected public transport strike, which made my stay quite challenging. The receptionist went above and beyond to assist me in securing a taxi but was unfortunately unable to do so. To my pleasant surprise, one of the staff members generously offered me a ride in her private car. I insisted on offering her money for the ride, but she kindly refused. Her kindness truly made a significant difference in my day. While the hotel itself may be a regular establishment, it is the warmth and willingness of the team to help that truly stands out. The exceptional attitude and generosity of the staff have left a lasting impression on me.Thank you once again for welcoming me to Sofia. I look forward to my next visit!

Clean room. Smiley staff.

The TV wasnt working but since we arrived late, we didn't bother anyone about it.

Nice neighborhood, free parking, freshly cleaned sheets on a king sized bed!

Beautiful mountain view, great restaurant right next to the hotel.

Fridge was not working.

Clean, big and cozy room. The bathroom is also great and has a big shower. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, you also have a few bus stations around.Overall the hotel was great and we had an awesome New Year spent here. ?

For me it wasn’t a problem, but there is a car wash outside the Hotel that sometimes may be making noise during working days.

Spacious and clean room free. parking space

It is near to car wash place this is why they have a free parking spot. It is noisy. There wasn’t even a kettle in the room. Hair dryer was broken. They didn’t leave enough towels just two small face towels. City center is about 20 minutes by car.

Big room and many shops around and couple of good restaurant.

Too much noise from the car washer

We are frequent visitors at Calipso, love the huuuuge bed and clean bathroom. ?

Bed's cover could meet the size of the bed. Bed fits parents with 2 kids (3&5), the cover is a challenge ?

Great location! Free parking!

There were holes in the carpet. The hairdryer didn’t work. The reception didn’t work after 8 o’clock. I saw 4 or 5 stink bugs inside the hotel room, which was weird.

Convenient location, good value, Good internet but no TV reception and no staff at night so couldn’t ask for help. Next morning the receptionist was able to reset the TV.

Dirty carpet.

Spacious rooms. exceptionally clean. Lovely shower & towels changed frequently. All staff are friendly & helpful.close to bus & tram stops A short walk to South Park.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room/apartment.

The property is clean and comfy. It is close to the bus station which takes you to the center in 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
