Hotel Montecito

I do not recommend staying at this hotel

The Hotel stated that there was a shutttle service to the airport, as it turns out, the shuttle service is unavailable due to a breakdown. There is an electric kettle in the room, but no tea or coffee. There is a safe, but additional permission is required for its use. The shower lacks any kind of anti-splash system. There is a device for liquid soap, but it does not work.

The building and facilities/accommodations are quite outdated.The toilet kept flushing on its own throughout the day and night.The walls were thin so I could hear everyone in the hallways and the rooms’ tvs on all night next door

Disappointing

the only complain I have is regarding the Bathroom. When you take a shower - the shower room is flooded with water - there is no curtain or glass enclosure that prevents the entire bathroom from getting flooded - really embarrassing. The other problem - the bathroom does not have a shelf that allows space to place the toiletries. A little attention - installing a simple plastic shelf (negligible investment) can solve this problem.

Good place I stay often. Good a airport transfer aswell. Restaurant is also good. ?

You won’t get better value for your money. Huge free parking, cosy rooms, satisfying breakfast.

Bed was very comfortable, bedding immaculately clean. Heating excellent.

There was a sewer smell in the room and the breakfast was quite poor with very little choice of items. Water/juice machine also was either switched off or just not working at all.

Hotel is great value and easy to get to the airport from (10 minute journey) and 24 hour reception. Hotel rooms have a kettle which is great- a coffee sachet would not go amiss.

Reception has a slightly creepy fee- very quiet at night and not very well lit. Miss Haversham vibes. I don't like the way they now use a button to hail a taxi - I sleep better knowing that a taxi has been booked and will be waiting for me when I have an early flight. To be fair though there were not any major problems with this system.

The room was big, the bed was big

Although it was a non smoking room, the smell was horrible. It wasn't only this room like this, but also the one next door.

Poor lighting in the rooms. Hard to see any paperwork you need to read.

Everything was fine, I liked the early breakfast

It was a little bit hot and the windows doesn't have nets, some bugs were in the room.

Room was really big. It was clean. Mattress was comfortable. Hot water all-day long. Warm room. Parking lots were plenty enough. Receptionists were kind & friendly. Breakfast was fair but tasty & in large quantities. Nice fruit juices & good machine-made mocaccino.

We were in a room, probably offered to people with pets 'cause of the pet hair we found on the carpet. So far, so good. However, they charged us 15euros/day (30euros in total for God shake) for a 4kg dog. Per day, not per stay!!! Hotels which accept pets, usually charge you an extra fee for your pet, because the personnel may have to try harder to clean the room due to pet hair. Though, they don't clean the room every day, the pet doesn't use bathroom, electricity, breakfast or other amenities. 15euros/day is considered a "far from reasonal" charge. I understand that this is their policy, but they have to understand that is too much & this is our opinion!!!

Large room, was clean, basic facilities, free car park near the airport

Was there end of October, these nights in Bulgaria get very cold and the hotel had left a large window in the room open, the room was very cold and with just one heater on took all night to warm up.Fitted radiators including towel rail in bathroom not working.Only had single duvets available even though was a double bed, and we did ask at reception.Toilet needs a deep clean.

Nice location, big parking lot

It was dirty, the bathroom had hair on the floor. There were only 3 thin blankets in the room but as it was quite cold in the evening- we were cold. We tried to set the AC, but it only worked on 1 temperature. The breakfast was ok, but again- the restaurant was with dirty floor, dirty WC and there were holes from cigarettes on the tablecloth.
