Location is perfect. Nar the hotel is forest. Amazing.Bad was good, clean.

Cleaning can be better, but it is not so disaster. Breakfast nothing specific. You won't stay hungry.

The room was clean and well maintained. The view was very nice. The hotel is well positioned close to metro and bus station. Parking is available in front of the hotel but you have to pay for it.

Good location, clean rooms , polite receptionists.

They charged us for the hotel parking! This should be either free for hotel guests or just include the fee in the room price.

All was perfect, but room 1022 smells of cigarettes… and is not kasy like someone just smokes but is the „old” smells… , in the walls, furniture, curtains... the old, lingering smell of cigarettes.

Good, standard high rise hotel, reasonable breakfast, comfortable bed. Fridge.

I like the location, it is close to the metro station and Borisova Garden. The staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are big and clean with amazing views. I also enjoyed the spacious breakfast hall, including the decor, with some nice murals. The view from the top restaurant is also stunning, especially during sunset, with views over the whole city and Vitosha Mountain. There are few hotels with this nostalgic, retro ambience that are so well maintained and keep some of their original character.

The hotel is near the Russian Consulate. Next door is the wonderful Happy Bar & Grill restaurant. Nearby is the metro station that links to the airport and to the city center. The hotel is old, but has been moderninzed very well. Even with snow outside, the room was very warm with only the small wall mounted electric heater. The bathroom was very nice looking. Calling a taxi was very easy by using a tablet at the front desk. The entrance to the park is nearby. The breakfast was adequate. The lobby bar offers drinks, sandwiches, and bottled water. The soap and toilet paper despensers are very nice to use.

The tub/shower didn't appear to be very safe to use. There was mold near the tub on the tile area. There is a refridgerator but no microwave or hot water pot. No electrical outlet in bathroom. No houseshoes offered.

The room was spacious and extremely clean.The staff were very polite, positive, happy and very helpful.The location is perfect, with tube station 5min walk from the hotel. It has trains to both the airport and the town centre ? I got a room on the 16th floor, and the view was amazing ?

Used to have a smoking area on the ground floor in front of the lobby bar, but now it was shut ? I hope they reopen it for the summer ☀️

Staff is friendly, location is great.

Strong komunist feel esp. at scarse breakfast. Strong pricing at upgrading, dog, parking although hotel is empty. Should find something to attract people, good deals.and offers firstly.

Location was good. Every year We stay at this hotel.

This time around was dirty. Pillow cases were dirty. Hair on the carpet. And smell of cigarette smoke from the toilet CV coming from the vent of other rooms. Although it’s a non smoking hotel. On many occasions they used to allow us to leave our luggage for couple of days. But this time around they refused and it was so inconvenient for us because we had a flight to catch and I had to go to search for left luggage area to store our bags. I nearly lost my flight.

Air condition didn't work, stuff try their best to fix it but on the end I got another room and then everything was good.

Appears my £150 headphones were stolen when room cleaned. Told reception. They have denied it. Extremely unhappy. I bet you don't even follow this up. I intend to go viral about your lack of support.

Bad

It was dirty. There was a food under the beds. Old, dirty furniture. The shower head was so old and dirty, that I could not make myself even to use the shower. And the worst part were.. Huge cockroaches

Staff at the bar were rude and miserable. Most of the staff couldn’t speak English making communication difficult. Breakfast variety was non existent and was the same food (poor) for the 4 nights we were there.

The staff were amazing! The lady who checked me in at the reception was exceptionally helpful and courteous. She handled all my inquiries and requests with exemplary manners. The night shift lady also deserves special recognition for her kindness and assistance she provided while i wasn't feeling well.

The hotel itself is not efficiently organized. It does not provide basic amenities in the room, and everything costs extra. The breakfast was basic and the food quality was not the best. It's the staff that makes the hotel more pleasant.

Delicious breakfast and friendly enough staff.

Very strange bathroom (just uncomfortable to bathe in) and windows that haven't been cleaned in at least a year.
