The hotel provides accommodations in two distinct wings. The main tower, or old wing, contains Single and Twin Rooms, as well as Small and Deluxe Apartments. The Single and Twin Rooms differ primarily by bed configuration. Small Apartments provide dedicated living and sleeping zones within an open-plan layout, while Deluxe Apartments offer an enhanced apartment layout with two private bathrooms. The Business Center, or new wing, contains the Business Rooms. These feature spacious, open-plan layouts and are available with either one large bed or two separate beds. Every room has individually controlled air conditioning, a refrigerator, cable TV and free Wi-Fi. The new wing also has a building-wide ventilation system serving each guest room individually. Refrigerators are provided for guests’ personal use instead of stocked mini-bars. Drinks, snacks and other refreshments can be purchased from two large vending machines in the hotel lobby. The hotel restaurant is open daily from 07:00 to 15:00 and serves international cuisine and traditional Bulgarian dishes. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00. Conference rooms and event facilities are available across the hotel’s two buildings. The building also houses an independently operated casino and nightclub. Both venues have separate external entrances and operate independently from the hotel. Hemus Hotel has a controlled-access indoor parking garage with capacity for 21 cars. Entry requires a remote control to open both the external portal gate and the garage door. Parking is subject to availability and costs €1.50 per hour or €15 per parking day. The National Palace of Culture is approximately 2625 feet from the hotel, while the southern end of Vitosha Boulevard’s main pedestrian section, known for its shops, restaurants and cafés, is approximately 2953 feet away. Vasil Levski National Stadium and Borisova Gradina Park are approximately 0.9 mi away, and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is approximately 1.3 mi from the hotel.

I love Hemus hotel, I always stay here and am a returning customer. However, it is a little bit like roulette... sometimes you get a perfect room, sometimes not. 1604 - perfect view.
1604 - Aiir conditioning not working properly and making a terrible noise. Also fridge and what I guess is the pipes making noise every few hours which makes sleep impossible... this particular room needs new appliances at least..

I often use Hemus for short stays in Sofia. Good location, shoppiing nearby, good breakfast.
Just a few things need to be improved: old and inconvenient bedding, old tiny curtain shower, bad ventilation. I already wrote before: please change bedding to fitted sheets!
Nice views from window if you stay on top floor and comfortable bed the bed size bit small for double but it’s ok WiFi was good enough and smart TV provided YouTube

It gives a cheap motel feeling. It's run down and stinks of cigarette smoke. The staff is grumpy and you need to lock your door on the inside with the key. There is an ashtray on the table.

Maybe one of the worst hotels ever! Everything in this hotel is old and broken. The bathroom was a disaster - extremely small, holes everywhere, mould and smelly. There was a women hygienic product in the trash bin from the previous visitors. Cigarette smoke was filling the room from god knows where. Absolutely awful.

INTERNET DID NOT WORK 50% TIME. I had to call 100 times to restart - still did not work properly. I WAS ON A BUSINESS TRIP - THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. TV did not have any english-speaking channel, only Bulgarian language. I can't understand what is going on in the world. After 1/2 of my weekly stay I was moved to another room, with good internet. But..... poor bed, much smaller room and poorer amenities. I would expect for such poor experience to obtain some compensation, for instance 1 night free, or free breakfast or room upgrade......Nothing....
