The noise of the trams early morning when you're having a room like 46 on the first floor.

The property is beautiful and in the heart of the city. Our room was huge and it was tasteful decorated. A plus was a coffee machine in the room, as well as welcome sweets. The breakfast menu is excellent and the staff forthcoming. Our dog loved the little bed and goodie’s she’s got.

There are a lot of stairs. I mean, a lot ?Room service breakfast doesn’t work. We ordered it according to the instructions and it unfortunately never arrived.

This facility is very first class in service and food for breakfast was impeccable. We will be back.

The pool on the side of the mountain is lovely, but really small, so the pictures are a little deceiving.

Schlossberghotel is situated at the beginning of a pedestrian zone. The hotel is a large rambling 3 story building beautifully decorated with a contemporary art collection that frequently rotates. We stayed here for 5 days in July and 5 days in August. Both our rooms had thought-provoking art which is a change from the « same old » production art of many hotels. The only drawback is due to its historic nature the stairs are frequent and many. Good News - there are two elevators! Be sure to to mention a need for minimal stairs if that is your need.There is a 24 hr bar off the lobby that serves alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks and a small but satisfying menu for snacks and light meals.The breakfast buffet is beautifully set-up with everything Austria does perfectly. A menu is also offered for hot dishes.

Stairs and steps can be tricky. Alert the ver accommodating front desk if you need minimal steps.

Location!, Pool!, atmosphere of the house, blend of old and new, architecture and art; staff helpful and competent;

The staff immediately established a rapport with us when they offered to give us a new room with fewer stairs. The breakfasts were full selections of meats, breads, a variety of nuts and dried fruit, eggs to order and much more. Our room was a generous size with comfortable chairs for relaxing. A spacious and comfortable lobby area is an ideal place to rendezvous with friends on small couches or comfy armchairs.The bar serves drinks and snacks perfect for a small lunch or a bedtime snack. The hotel is filled with a curated contemporary art collection interesting and stimulating!

The bathroom was very small and the shower hardware was difficult to figure out!

Really interesting and characterful property, with super staff who were always helpful. Be prepared to do some stairs…..the gardens extend far up the hill below the Schloss and should be explored! Rooms well equipped and spotless. Breakfast is of a very high quality. Highly recommended. Don’t overlook exploring the artwork in the property. It is rather interesting!

tasty breakfast, very nice atmosphere, smiling waitresses ready to help at any moment, choice of newspapers, peace and privacy during the breakfast. Perfect English of all employees working there. The view from the appartment was amazing!

I do not find anything i could complain about. Maybe it would be good to have double access to the building where appartments are located - so far everyone is allowed to enter the building - entry with the key only could be a better option.

Room is too simple for the 5 star hotel, both windows had walls or other windows within two meters distance, hence no sunlight. I am 185 and I hit my head badly, because the entrance to the bathroom is very low and it is not highlighted. Room was quite cold and air conditioner didn't function as heating unit.

Location is great, stairs and lift to the Schlossberg are in 1 minute reach, inner city ca. 5 minutes per foot.Staff is very friendly, we liked the breakfast and the service in general.

Great hotel in a very nice location. Walkable distance to all the attractions.Quite spacious suites with all required amenities, also very warm rooms.The staff was friendly and polite, very helpful at all times. We ended up in the hotel on Christmas Eve, and thankfully the restaurant was working, while the whole city was closed.The breakfast was very tasty and fresh, one of the best cake selections I've seen in hotels.

The breakfast is excellent, and the service is great. It’s very convenient for staying with a dog, and the hotel is right by the river, making it perfect for walks. It’s also close to the city centre.

It was a lovely place with Austrian architecture, easily accessible by Taxi, Tram, waking and close to the city center. The Breakfast was fantastic with wide variety of selection. Altogether we stayed five nights.more the very kind young staff members both in the reception and the Restuarant attending promptly to our requests . Their response to the customers is exceptional, you feel you are in good hands. We would love to stay in a future visit.

The valet parking was much appreciated in a city centre - it's a lovely hotel with real history as well as great and very interesting modern art. The staff were helpful and friendly; the rooms were great.

Whiskey sour is on the bar menu, but they didn't know what a whiskey sour was. Nae bother.
