Pros +
- The reception staff was extremely helpful and cheerful in giving us directions and suggestions fr our walking tour of Graz. Truly outstanding. The on-premises parking is a great plus. We do not have to worry about the car while we toured Graz.
- My room was even better, this time, and I had a view of the beautiful park and Palace across the street. So Lovely to wake up to! The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. I love the high ceilings in the room and the expansive nature of each part of the room, the sitting area, the lounge, and I had a lovely, big walk-in shower with a Rainshower head and wand, both with excellent pressure. I love the helpfulness of the Staff, big Thanks to Herr. Thomas, a very Gentle and Kind man who helped me with some documents and even inspired me to do a little more walking in town and I did in fact see more, and enjoyed my stay more, because of his suggestions! I was lucky enough to be present on a Sunday and i went the short walk to the Cathedral where they had a beautiful choir singing with the Extraordinary, Large Organ. The sounds were awe-inspiring and I felt connected and Blessed to be there. Wonderful.
- Excellent breakfast in a very relaxing setting. Location perfect for walking to all sights in the center city yet nice and quiet at night. The building and interior offer the elegance of another era
Cons -
- Such a pity the Spa/salon is closed on weekends and that they don't have any alternative masseuse or anything that would supplement the spa being closed. I hope they find some extra staff soon!
- All perfect
- The walls on one side of my room were rather thin and I could hear my neighbor listening to a football match well into the night. Not ideal for a business trip.

Perfect location near the university, pleasant staff, good facilities.

It was very clean, staff were polite, and the location is perfect.
Bed was too firm.

Nice breakfast, comfortable and quiet rooms
Everything was very good, including location, breakfast, dinner and service. Charming and very well kept hotel with great ambiance. Next time hope to benefit from the pool and spa. Recommend it.
Centrally located hotel, decent quality and facilities
The reason for low rating was big disappointment with the professionalism of the staff of hotel. When noticing that one wine also was missing in the room, we asked to bring the glass in the room together with extra ice. In the meantime we went to spa and upon return no glass or ice was in the room. I had to call multiple times, at the end had to go down myself to pick it up. The highlight was next day at the checkout when I was charged extra 6 EUR for "room service". When challenged the charge I was told that the staff attempted to bring it to my room, but nobody opened and therefore charge was applied. I believe for a "luxury" hotel with high prices such approach is ridiculous
It is a very beautiful hotel and it is well maintained and clean. The pool and spa facilites are excellent.
I felt like the staff in the restaurant and those in charge of the breakfast were not very well trained. They were not very helpful nor were they particularly friendly. While this is typical of customer service in Austria, this is one area where the hotel could up its game in order to compete with other hotels.
Indeed, a traditional luxury hotel in center of Graz!
Lovely older hotel that was clean and well cared for with wonderful rise garden/patio.
