Hotel Daniel Graz - Smart Lifestyle Near City Centre

Location near train station and not too far from main sights

As advertised, hotel is minimalist, so no closets or dressers. Clothes rack only. It works for a short stay. Also there is a window in the shower, there is a blind but you can see in. Luckily sharing the room with my husband.

The value for money is great! Staff was very friendly.

Initial check in with Receptionist was cold and automated, Spotty Wifi, no CNN

I liked the location, comfort, and staff politeness.

The location was perfect, right near the train station. Very efficient room, great use of space. Great breakfast which does cost extra, not such a great value unless you intend to eat a lot.We had a room with a balcony, great spot at the end of the day to have a beer.

There were some dirty spots in the bathroom area I had to clean.

Staying at Hotel Daniel was very convenient for our circumstances. With less than 24 hours to visit Graz, we optimized our limited time to view points of interest with easy access to public transportation and several walkable destinations from the hotel.

The hotel is nice, but the greatest asset is the location. It is adjacent to the train station. The tram stop (underground) is just out the front door. The tram takes you anywhere you want to go quickly and economically.

We opted out of the 25 euro (each) breakfast. Maybe they could offer a 10 euro coffee and pastry as well.

The proximity to the train station

The staff- we arrived early and knew we would not be able to check in but the young girl at the RECEPTION desk had a huge scowl on her face, never asked if she could help us and wordlessly put our luggage in a room for us. The hotel sold itself as cute and hipster- it was neither! Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel or ever stay there again!

I like Hotel Daniel Graz, tend to sray where whenever I'm in Graz. Very comfortable and nice hotel, close to train station, Graz Hbf.

Nothing that has to do with Hotel Daniel Graz, they are totally innocent in this.But booking.com overcharged me about € 51,-, a totally unexpected price increase, from when I started the online booking until it went through.I'm extremely irritated about this, have complained twice, and yet not resolved.

Superb

The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak and the water was suddenly cold then hot then cold…The see through shower wasn’t something we expected. We were ok with it but maybe not for everyone especially traveling with friends and not a partner.

Fantastic location right next to the railway station and above the central underground tram stop. From here you can take a tram or bus to all the major attractions.

Room (we booked a “Loggia room and paid extra) was very small and the shower and toilet were unusual for sharing a sliding door. Beds were uncomfortable. It was not the “luxury room” as described. We were disappointed.

The reception guy was amazing! I arrived really late and he gave me an apple (I was hungry ) Really good energy and service...He gave me a nice moment.. The breakfast fabulous ! I wanted to stay more and book the e bycicle and more services that they were offering, but was only one night stay..

Ventilation in the shower/bathroom ran the whole night and couldn't be turned off.It was a subtle noise, but i could not put my attention away from it.Stayed multiple times at the hotel, this was never an issue before.

Location to train station.literally walk out the station exit to Europlatz turn right and there it is 200m.away. Shower is a good size and plenty of hot water pressure.

The unique toilet/shower door operation.1 sliding door that either can be be closed for the toilet and open for the shower or vice versa.. To get up from the toilet you basically have to slide open the toilet door risk headbutting the door when standing up. I don't know if it is a common design problem to every room or just in the room we had ie #202

The location to the train station! The breakfast was wonderful. They had mopeds for rent and we got one for the day.

The pillows were bad. That’s it.

Nice Hotel next to the main railway station, one can walk to city centre via Annenstrasse in 25 minutes or take the tram.It's more like a boutique hotel and some parts are coming of age, although the allover design is special but timeless. But that's also a little bit qirky, wich is fine. Bathroom is a shower cabin with a huge window to the bedroom, wich can be covered with a blind if you're not into watching people shower. Only thing that's weird is the shower/toilet-door, wich is a sliding door, so the toilet is not very soundproof, as is the whole hotel.

As I mentioned above, the buliding seems to be old an not very thoroughly soundproof. Toilet/shower-door is weird. Some traces uf usage on the walls. All other things were totally fine.

The location is good and the breakfast was really good

I was quite disappointed with the smell of the room. It had a strong humidity smell that made my stay uncomfortable.
