PLAZA INN Graz City

Warm welcome

Only one coffee machine for breakfast…..annoyingLimited room cleaning service

Excellent location and quick access to the old town centre. The hotel’s location is also well-maintained and clean. Good breakfast is included.

I have no comments

There is cheap public parking just outside the Hotel.

The Hotel advertises that it has parking. However they don't indicate that they charge for it. Upon asking the person in reception why they don't indicate this, his answer was that they are not required by law to do so. I did tell him that this is dishonest and he said that if they are not required to be honest by law it is ok to be dishonest. Not a very polite receptionist and rather arrogant. What was more irritating is that we found paid parking outside the hotel at half the price offered by the Hotel.Their breakfast quality is at the absolute minimum. The breakfast ends at 10:00 so we showed up at 9:00. Already the bread had run out and it was not replenished. The same thing happened to everything else that run out....so it seems that they offer a fixed quantity of food and whoever does not come very early will have to make do with what is left.In conclusion, they do offer cheap prices (96 Euro for two persons) but they also offer cheap service....So you get what you pay for...

Clean, big rooms and bathrooms. Very accommodating and prompt staff.

The hotel has a good location and it has good price for the included services. The staff is very nice, helpful and customer-centric. The breakfast was really good also with super nice personal, supported us also with glutenfree food as well.

There is not even a single point to complaint about.

Near central part of the city

Not enough parking places (25 out of 115 rooms), medium conditions

The location in center of Graz is perfect for getting around, with tram and bus stops just across the road. Check in was nice and simple and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice and clean, and the air con worked a treat (which was helpful since we stayed in the middle of a heatwave).

The only issue we had was the hot water went out for a few hours, but they had it fixed pretty swiftly. The car park is very small for the size of the hotel, so I image if you stayed during a very busy time it would be difficult to park, but it was not a problem for us.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Very good value. Beds were comfortable and the room was nice

It's about a 20 minute drive to downtown

Great location, near several supermarkets and 20 min walk to the city Zentrum. Room was comfortable and spacey. Parking available.

Great location, decent sized rooms well laid out. 2 armchairs in room, big bathroom with lots of shelf space and good sized towels

Good location, very good breakfast, comfy bed.

Heating in the bathroom would be good. Cleaning or changing towels on the second day is recommended.

Location is close to the center even by foot, good breakfast, rooms are ok and clean, you can be lucky to get a Parking spot in the hotel back yard and if not, there are a lot of free spots outside or payed garages choice near the hotel. Reception is working 24h.

Not so much bad things about the hotel, exept the edge of the window curtain was dismounted in my room and it could be a bit more clean because the hole city of Graz is perfectly clean and nice looking.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout my visit, and the breakfast was excellent – with a good variety and fresh options. The room and bathroom were both modern, clean, and comfortable.

The hotel has its small garage, and does not guarantee availability in advance. However, upon arrival, the garage was half empty. I believe it would have been helpful and reassuring if I had been informed earlier that there was space available – especially since I had contacted the hotel the day before asking for the exact street entrance to the garage.

Breakfast was good, lots to choose from.Excellent staff. Location was really good, about a 15 min walk to the city center. - The only negative thing was that the room was not cleaned, despite the ‚clean my room sign‘ on the door. However the staff at the reception were very helpful und handed over free drink vouchers as compensation. Otherwise everything was good.

nice staff, clean room, really good breakfast :)

The property was great for a one-week stay. The room was very big. Breakfast was ok and rich. The staff from reception was great and wonderful. A great customer experience.

Even the room was very big, the light was not sufficient as a part of the room was not lighted at all. Also, when cleaning, the garbage was not cleaned.

Nice service. Good breakfast. Clean rooms. Perfect for a short stay in Graz. I will consider this hotel again for my next trips to Graz.
