Mercure Szekesfehervar Magyar Kiraly

Very friendly staff, great location, wonderful breakfast.

Beds were not very comfortable. Climate control was poor and room was stuffy. Parking is tricky.

Friendly and dedicated stuff.

Hotel restaurant is closed which was dissapointing.. Room bit used and old... on my last stay got much better one.

Good location, great breakfast, kind staff and comfortable rooms.

Airconditioning wasn't cooling at all and could not be set, I had to open the window for the night. The same in the restaurant, it was middle of the very hot summer and the airconditioning was not operating, it was very hot inside and no air. Windows were not openable.I guess it' s because of savings bot for this prices I would expect notmal aircoinditioning.

Great location, nice clean room! Good selection for Breakfast.

Can't fault it.

It is in a great location, the stadf is really friendly and helpful.

My room smelled really bad, and the toilete seat was opened all the way and the coffee at the breakfast was really bad.

Great and centrally located. Had a single room which was big enough and very clean. Free water, coffee and tea in the room. Tv is a bit weirdly located but ok, there wasnt much alternative. AC was working well as it was very hot outside on that day. Many restaurants outside in walking distance. Staff war very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, really enjoyed it! Would def. come again

everything was ok for me.

Nice located hotel

Unexpected enormously high cost for a dog and higher price for parking than stated on the reservation

Incredibly responsive girls night administrators, speak English and really want to help

Nice, friendly, lovely and very helpfull female receptionist on the day of arrival, but in general the staff was nice.Private parking place in the parking garage of the Hotel with my name on it made me feel very welcome.Breakfast was good.Location is superb in the heart of the old city centre.

Nothing to mention here.

Breakfast was excellent, good variety of foods, sweets, French and English breakfast, always ready personnel to help.

Central location

Air conditioning not working correctly (cannot keep window open because too much traffic)Kettle does not workShower drain was partially blockedStaff advised to park in underground car park and then when trying enter was told it was full

good location

hidden fees after fully paid ahead online.arrogant staff

I have booked a room with extra large doublebed and I really like how comfortable it was. The room was enormously spacious with a nice bathroom. The other good thing was that they automatically prepared a cot for our son.

There were few damaged spots on carpet. A bit difficult to get to a small undergound parking lot, unsecured for a bit higher price per night but there are plenty of parking lots around

Nice and stylish hotel.

I was warned by the hotel about the limited capacity of the underground garage, and there really was no room left for my car.The receptionist did not open the garage for me and sent me to park in the outdoor parking lot, where the 20th century rules - the parking lot can only be paid in cash, exclusively with Forint coins. Of course, we didn't have them and the receptionist showed no interest in assisting us with this problem. Is it a problem for the hotel to give clients the option to pay more for accommodation and provide them with this exotic currency in cash so they don't have to worry about getting fined?

Rooms are basic but very clean. Very comfortable bed, good quality towels, helpful staff in a great location. I would recommend it.

Excellent location directly in city center. Very good breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff

Nice central location, good WiFi, comfortable bed, clean room. Wasn’t aware of any facilities within the hotel.

Breakfast, fried eggs were cold as was the bacon, sausages and scrambled egg. The same for 3 consecutive mornings during my stay. Nothing wrong with the quality, just freezing cold.

Rooms oriented to main road are quite noisy, especially at summer season it can be much more disturbing. Staff reacted and tried to change room to upper level, yard oriented, probably some technical room close to or some aircon vent system, so noisy too. Anyway, hotel OK for business short term stayover.

Excellent stay except for odor issue

sewer smell coming from drain in bathroom was so strong I had to sleep with window open

A lovely large, comfortable room, a perfect location in the heart of the historic old town and very friendly and helpful staff
