Altstadthotel Bräuwirt

The Altstadthotel Bräuwirt surpassed all expectations. I have never given an all star rating across criteria; however, this hotel deserved the stellar rating.

Location is wonderful and the staff are friendly and helpful. The nice lady at the breakfast learned my order on the first day and had my coffee ready for me each morning after. I will definitely return to this hotel.

We loved everything about it

Very nice room in the heart of Altstadt Weiden. Everything was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was especially nice. Breakfast was a small buffet with everything needed to get you up and running for the day.

Very nice hotel. Clean. Elegant. They took great care of me on short notice.

Room for a suite was very spacious. If I was there for meeting in a business compacity, the outer room could work for an impromptu meeting area. The bed was comfortable, and as found the light was effectively canceled out by the draw down blinds. Mini bar had affordable rates.

Shower was a little dirty, left over hair was found in the shower stall. Because the hotel is in the city outside noises can continue past desirable times. Other than that very nice.

Location top, rooms are old style yet comfortable, spacious, with mini bar. Good breakfast for such a price range. Nice service in English - all well explained.

Facilities and room were well maintained.

Staff was more focused on local clientele and less on guests at the hotel. Having only a small fan with temperatures in the 90s definitely had an impact on living conditions.

# The car park is a nightmare, if you have a large car you want to park easily then it might not be the best choice. Unless you're a very skilled driver or like challenges. I guess the scratched pillars (all of them) in the car park are there to serve as a warning ?# No kettle in the room to make yourself a tee or a coffee. # No air conditioning (likely due to architectural permissions / restrictions). # No bath, only shower.

Great location- In town- Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Room was beautiful, large comfortable bed with a nice view.

I stayed two nights and both the Television’s, living room and the one in the bedroom had no signal at all- Frustrating

customer service was fine, stay away if your trip isn't fixed yet.

For some reason, the ice maker and latte machines always seem to be broken in Germany. We couldn't get some ice but I know ice cubes aren't big in Germany. Still this was an amazing place to stay!

No air conditioning, parking with a large car is near impossible

The hotel was great. The view to the lake, the comfort, the location, big rooms, big TV screens. Perfect for what I needed.

Very convenient yet located in a quiet place. Clean and well appointed. I thought the bathroom was especially luxurious. The staff was exceptional! They helped us with receiving our luggage even after we had checked out. Don’t skip the breakfast. It was delicious and the dining room lovely.

Excellent location. In the middle of the pedestrian zone. Breakfast exceptional. Was in a mini-suite that was bigger than my first apartment. Very comfortable and beautifully furnished.
