City Hotel Bamberg

Huge room with a great view. Parking on site. Good selection for breakfast. Complimentary water and coffee/tea in the basement

Location is pretty good - about a 12 minute walk from the train station, and about a 10 minute walk from the Altstadt, and Rathaus area. Rooms are quite spacious. Breakfast was the standard fare that we received at every hotel in Germany where breakfast was included.

No tissue (Kleenex) provided in room, and comforters were a bit thinner than those we had in other hotels in Germany, also a bit shorter so that it was difficult to keep it tucked in while sleeping. Our room faced the street and was quite noisy overnight. We recommend requesting a room in the back away from the main road.

The check-in process was easy and the room was very spacious, the breakfast was good and sufficient.

I wish they had more parking spaces, but in Europe is usually the norm that they are small and rather scarce. But overall good

A little walk to the main sights

The self check-in was convenient and I found the room very cozy. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, there are lots of options for vegans and vegetarians.

Very well.located. Very clean. By a busy road so ask for quiet room. Excellent breakfast. Good value. 15 min walk central train station. 5 min walk to S station.

This was the best hotel on my trip, because registration was easy and contactless. It is located near the center and  the railway station as well. The room was very clean.Everything was ok. Nothing disturbed me.

The lovely little hotel did not disappoint. The location for was excellent and the additional bonus of private underground parking was just what we needed.The hotel was clean and facilities were excellent.The breakfast was included and was plentiful.We would highly recommend a visit

Great location for easy access to the old town and the station. I checked in late and was sent the code for the door ahead of my arrival. The room was really clean and just what I needed!

Modern hotel, close to train station. Easy walk to the old town. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Loved the tea making facilities and filtered water available in the kitchen area.

No reception for the whole weekend when we arrived. Check-in easy but it would have been nice to see someone for the two days.

Nicely located between the train station and the city center. The breakfast lady was super friendly, and the breakfast was really good as well.

My bed was really short and not very comfortable. General cleanliness, mostly in the restroom, has to be improved. No luggage room where to store your baggage if you're early. No one from the staff is at reception between 2pm and 7am the following morning.

Clean and close to the train station. Convenient checkin. Staff were friendly. Hot water for tea and coffee down in the dining area.

No ability to make a coffee or tea first thing in the morning except if you wanted to head downstairs to get the hot water but perfectly fine for an overnight stay.

As a solo traveller I wish there was someone at desk when I arrived after 5pm
