Hotel Weierich

The location is perfect, next to the cathedral, the Old Town Hall, restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and shops. The room was spacious, the area quiet, the breakfast nice and the breakfast room charming. The elevator was also a big plus.

Great location, friendly and cheerful staff. Very eager to assist.

The breakfast could have more variety. They only offer boiled egg, it would be nice to have omelet, scramble or sunny side up ?

This hotel is a real gem in the heart of old town Bamberg. So close to all the sights, restaurants and breweries. Check in was easy and efficient. Room was lovely and inviting with adequate space. The bathroom was well equipped with an excellent shower that had very good water pressure. Breakfast was abundant and tasty. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

Only downside was the bed. It was not comfortable, and I had a bad night's sleep. And the pillows had no body to them so it was like having your head directly on the mattress. But I have come to realize this is very common for German pillows.

Perfect location, very friendly staff, good design of hotel. It was very nice stay in beautiful city.

Staff was excellent ! Elka was the best hostess! The room was spacious with comfortable swival chairs.

Close and walking distance.We came after hours and was great with accommodation.Breakfast was good it a mini style not a huge selection.Restaurant near by.

Location was excellent. Friendly staff. Clean and large rooms. Very good breakfast and value.

Nothing disliked. Just recommendation to future travelers with cars. Park in lot across the street to unload and then move car to parking facility which is a quick and scenic walk back to hotel.

The location is great, almost everything is walkable. The receptionist, Anna was extremely friendly and helpful during check-in. I will stay here again if coming back to Bamberg.

It’s an old house, so the floor is not very even. There are small steps here and there, which was hard for elderly and heavy suitcases. No hotel parking, need to park at a garage nearby.

Location was amazing, a short walk to all the sites we wanted to see as well as the town. Breakfast was small but with a great selection of items. The hotel had a really "old style" ambiance and architecture.

In our room the bathroom could have been a bit more private, a solid door instead of a translucent sliding glass pane.

The charming, historic decor of the hotel was so warm and welcoming and the bed and pillow was so comfortable. We loved everything about this hotel.

In the heart of Bamberg this is a gem. The staff are friendly and the place is clean and has history.

Parking is non-existent. If you are driving you must park in the underground city garage a few blocks away and there is no place to temporarily park while you check in. Fine on a nice day, but otherwise a negative.

Our stay at the Hotel Weierich in Bamberg was amazing. The staff are welcoming and helpful; the room was clean and quiet; the breakfast buffet was delicious with quality local foods. The hotel location is excellent - easily reached by foot from the Bamberg train station, and close to all major sights, restaurants, and shops in the old town, while still being on a quiet street away from big tourist crowds.

Excellent breakfast. Great location. Friendly and efficient staff. Our room had 2 lounge chairs which is a rarity in most hotels.

Excellent location in the centre of the historic city.

Hot water in the shower took some time to come through. It is a lovely old building but some of the decoration, furniture and paraphernalia were not in keeping with the beautiful building.

Not a huge breakfast selection, there are kettles available for guests from a cupboard but not informed of this,also not given WiFi code.The shower area is very cramped...also checkout is 1030 am.

Excellent room, very clean and the staff very kind in a great location. Very close to the cathedral and the 2 rivers. The train station was a 20 minute walk away.

Breakfast could be better

Very pleasant reception staff, easy check in, I arrived early and was able to leave my bags. Beautiful old building and the breakfast room was awesome. Good room to stay in , good shower and bed. Right in the centre of the old town, but very quiet at night, no problems with noise. I would stay again. Good breakfast.

While the property was excellent overall, a few minor areas for improvement could include:•Limited Amenities: Certain modern conveniences, such as additional in-room facilities or updated furnishings, could enhance comfort.•Noise Levels: Depending on the time of day, the central location might result in occasional street noise, although this is typical for properties in historic areas.These were minor and didn’t detract from the overall positive experience.

We LOVED this hotel. Super comfortable and clean. Location was perfect. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were super friendly. We’ll be back someday.
