Hotel Bruckertshof

Breakfast was good, evening before I got asked with a checklist, what I wanted. Quite location. Beer Garden no traffic as windy weather.

Had to walk with heavy suitcase to 2nd floor no elevator

Very clean, comfortable, the staff was helpfull and very friendly. Breakfast delicious, good coffee. Unfortunately our shower was not hot enough, although the water in the bathroom sink was hot...15 mns to the city center parking was great.

Nice room for price

No one there to check me in when I arrived. No elevator to second floor. No Kleenex or hair conditioner.

You have to decide the day before what you will eat for breakfast. Strange. No free access to water and juices. You have to ask every time to get a small glass of drink. Broken coffee machine. Only instant coffee. Far from the city center (of course I knew it earlier)

Lovely staff, great location and they have a lovely al fresco bar out side which is very popular with the locals, beer and food...!!Room quite spacious and very comfortable.

I'm quite a light sleeper and would prefer a dark room, but there wasn't any curtains, only net curtains, but if that doesn't bother you, it's not an issue.

The main building was a gorgeous old place built in the 1700's but the rooms are all in a modern extension built in the 2000's. I liked the beer garden which was busy with locals as it was a holiday. The double glazed doors and electronic shutter blocked any noise from the beer garden, which really was quite a lovely gentle hum of conversation.

There was no room for a bedside table. The bus-ride from town goes through quite an industrial area with large, retail units and car show rooms. It's not a pleasant walk. It was a local holiday when i was there so there was a minimal bus service into town (1 every 2 hours) but no information to explain this. I eventually got a taxi which was very pricy. It would have been fine if i was travelling by car.

Charming restaurant. Nice staff. Cleanness.

Price is questionable due to the location of the Hotel and the standard of the room. It was not easy to find the Hotel as you have to drive through a residential neighbourhood to get there. The whole layout of the room as well as the furniture arrangement was inconvenient. One had to crawl over the other to enter the bed. There were no bedside tables and the TV was standing on a table facing a wall but not the bed.

Very modern spacious quiet beautiful rooms. Nice beer garden. Very friendly owner. Perfect stay if you have a car.

The location is NOT within walking distance, and the walk would be thru an industrial area to get to Bamberg. The buses don't go on Sunday. The hotel is small and the reception is not manned. And their onsite restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Very hard to reach without a car. If I would have understood the location, I would not have stayed here.

This hotel was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but it was well worth traveling the few miles from Bamberg center. The staff was exceptional; courteous and professional. It was so nice to be back in Germany where the people are consistently friendly to international tourists. The restaurant at the hotel was also exceptional. I can see why people come from around the area to eat there. I can only imagine how fun the beer garden is when in full swing. The breakfast was also exceptional. Wow!

The rooms were small, in need of a little paint touch up, but sill very clean, and still perfect for my needs.

Lovely hotel just outside of centre of town very comfortable and clean and free parking receptionist was very helpful

Unfortunately or fortunately the restaurant beer garden was not open on a Tuesday when we were booked in

The area around the hotel is very quiet. The room may have been recently renovated so it was clean and bright.

The location of the hotel is a bit far from the old city, about 10 minutes by car and 40 minutes by walk. In addition, one side of the bed is against the wall so it feels inconvenient.

Good location near the highway. The rooms where good and the restaurant was excellent.

Extremely big bed - nice!

Reception should be open at least until 22:00. Would be nice to be able to get something to eat late in the evening.
