    Pros +

    • Easy access to both train station and the Altstadt but not on a heavily used street. The breakfast is fabulous, the staff helpful and friendly and rates extremely reasonable. Hotel employee is everything we wanted!
    • I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff as the greeted us off the train. In addition, the room was made up clean and cozy for our stay. I would recommend staying here!
    • - Hotel is nearby Bamberg Hauptbahnhof, 3 Minutes walking.- so many Food establishments nearby (Döner Laden, Norma, Asia Laden, etc.,)- the place is quiet but on the first night, I got a good room but it was loud at night because of some noise coming from the wall but the reception made a consideration that I may move on the other room. - Staffs were friendly, always greets you with a smile and answers queries professionally.- Breakfast was average but it was special too because they bake a good cake/ bread everyday which makes it for me unique. It has no people around but maybe because it’s winter time :)- The room was tidy and complete. You may request for a hot kettle if you need.. like what I did.- there is enough place for your Luggages. - Highly recommended hotel in Bamberg :)

    Cons -

    • I wasn't a huge fan of needing to pay for a breakfast if I wanted one at the hotel. It's more of a hostel than a hotel because there aren't too many amenities. However, we knew what we were in for when we booked.
    • - the glass sliding door for the restroom, but luckily there is a good strong exhaust to remove a bad fume inside. Also the curtain on the shower room instead of an enclosed portion. so you need to be careful/ not to do enough movement or else it’s gonna wet the floor.
    • Breakfast is abit pricey. Anyway, there are choices of breakfast nearby

Comfy, cozy and warm room. . Walking distance to oldtown with a little walk away. Parking is free but need to pick up the hotel card from reception. The opened parking is ~150M away on a small alley shared with few others hotels and residents. Able to park beside the hotel for a while to pick up the card

Breakfast is abit pricey. Anyway, there are choices of breakfast nearby

Nice little hotel just a short walk from the main station. Can also walk to the center or take a bus, there's a stop around the corner. Very clean, and the breakfast was good. Staff is pretty friendly.

Twin room is a bit small and feels a bit cramped. A kettle in the room would be nice.

    9TristenPosted on: 7-31-2025

Good location, felt safe, and very helpful staff! Would stay again!

The shower was small and only a curtain. Water goes everywhere with the handheld shower head.

Nice staff, great location (a short walk from the old town), clean room, everything as promised.

Parking in the hotel garage is for extra price, parking in the street is not possible at or close to the hotel.

The room was clean and well located. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was very small, and not very comfortable. It's fine for a one night stay, but if you're planning a longer visit or have children, I wouldn't recommend it due to the limited space.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Only a short walk to the city center with many nice restaurants nearby.

    8GaiPosted on: 6-25-2025

Good value for money, room is minimalistic and simple but had what I needed for a one night stay.

Nothing specific I didn't like, everything was pretty basic it's kind of more of a hostel than a hotel.

This cute and comfortable hotel is just 800 M from the train station; it’s easy to locate. We loved the quiet and the beds. The sights of Bamberg are an easy walk from the hotel.

    Nothing—excellent value.

    10StevePosted on: 5-8-2025

We had a room with a patio. It was so nice to have this huge patio with nice furniture to enjoy the sunny day. The whole room was very roomy and functional. The employees were all helpful and friendly.

    7CarlPosted on: 4-14-2025

Good location and clean. Very hard bed. Small room. They said they had parking but it was full so we had to find our own parking. Shower head disfuntional.

    8Sylvia R.Posted on: 3-26-2025

    Clean and near central station.

The hairdryer is broken, we can’t use it

    6SarahPosted on: 3-22-2025

Good breakfast, clean facility, friendly staff.

The hotel felt more like a hostel than hotel. Self-service with a key after hours, long winding hallway to get to our room. The most narrow room we've been in during our travels in Germany. No water or other comforts in room.

    10MichaelPosted on: 2-23-2025

The breakfast was great and inexpensive. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

    No complaints.

    8VladimirPosted on: 1-1-2025

The room was generally good. The breakfast was also fine.

The hotel is sort of "old-style," which some may not exactly like. The location is not really walking distance from the main sights.

    7TaniaPosted on: 12-20-2024

Great location. Very close to train station and town centre. Great that it had an elevator!

    Small bathroom.

    7KorneliaPosted on: 11-26-2024

Very sweet little hotel, nice staff, comfortable and clean

    9LeaPosted on: 11-19-2024

Easy to reach from the Train Station and easy parking on the Main Street close by.The room was small but comfortable. The shower pressure was excellent! Heating worked nicely as well.

The milky glass slide door of the bathroom.Even if I share a room with a partner I would like to be able to fully close the bathroom door. Also since the room was that small and it was two people in the room, I woke up in the middle of the night, having to open the window for a few minutes cause the oxygen felt used up. Which is alright but in winter that can get pretty cold.
