Lovely room overlooking Piazza Sordella.

Older bathroom. Couldn't adjust the temperature in the room.

Located a few steps from the Santa Andrea Basilica and the ducal palace,this hotel offers a lot of possibilities for eating and drinking nearby or marvelling at the city from your room.I would definitely visit the hotel again and suggest it to my fiends.

Absent door separing the entrance from the main room. Very thin front door, you could hear all sorts of noises coming from the corridor from inside the room. Underdimensionated room. Instead of 1 french bed they put 2 single mattresses together, not so comfy

The location was excellent and the hotel provided useful information about parking options.

The first room we had was small and had no view, though it was comfortable enough.The second room (we stayed an additional night) had a lovely view of the square, but was less satisfactory as the curtain did not cover the window and the street lamps lit up the room all night. The sink was blocked. We had to move our luggage down two floors and leave it in reception on the day we changed rooms. When we checked back in, we were given the room across the corridor from the original room, so had to cart it all back up again. We would have appreciated it if the hotel had offered to move the luggage from room to room.

We were lucky to get another room upon request. It was big and had a window on the piazza.

The first room we got had a window to nothing and a very loud noise (ventilation system I believe). It would have been very disappointing and uncomfortable if we would have had to stay in this room.

The room had a front view of Mantua's main square, with a beautiful view of the cathedral and the ducal palace. Waking up to those views is a privilege!

The hotel has a fantastic location and the reception staff were very welcoming. However, we were surprised by the extra charges for services that are usually complimentary in most hotels, such as late check-in after 11 p.m. or storing luggage after check-out. In addition, the large number of messages and emails about fees and conditions before our arrival felt a bit overwhelming. While we appreciated the kindness of the staff, receiving these details in advance unfortunately set us up for a less positive experience.

Convenient for the city. The room was large, quiet and comfortable.

It was all good

The location on the main square was unbeatable. The buffet breakfast was fresh and good and served in a bright restaurant with open doors on to the square. The hotel had an old fashioned feel, but with decent facilities. We would recommend to friends and will stay again if we return to the beautiful city of Mantova.

The shower cubicle was a bit small and the door was very stiff to close. The air con wasn't the most efficient

I have never slept on the main square of a medieval city. We got the 1st floor 1st room window facing to the Ducale Palace and the Duomo. The hotel is old but refurbished, the room small but the bed is comfy. The breakfast was perfect , good coffee, and i was satisfied with the selection as well.

We stayed here with our teenage daughters and it was great.The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location could not be better, with everything on the doorstep. We'd highly recommend this hotel.

We loved the coffees served to us and the hotels location is special being within the historical area of town close to many bars and eating choices.

Location is excellent

AC is not availabe at the time, no fans in the room. Weather is not too cold to keep window close and be comfortable. We have to leave window open but street noise was too much we couldn't sleep.

The hotel was in an excellent location relative to all the museums and attractions associated with the city being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our room was on the top floor and accessible by lift or stairs. Although a relatively small room, it was clean and comfortable for our one-night stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the hotel also offers a good, reasonably priced breakfast.

The hotel corridors are short and narrow - feels a bit like a rabbit warren.
