the bathroom was old and the shower was really badmy bed was close to the door and i could smell all the smoke coming from dowstairs or other rooms and could hear all the noise.the curtains were not clean at allthe floor was not looking dirty but after walking on it for 5 minutes the socks were completly brownthe lady at the breakfast was rude and unpolite, the breakfast was poor and people were pushing each other to reach the food

The staff and the breakfast were wonderful.

I wasn't initially impressed with the room but it was clean and comfortable and the staff and The breakfast completely made up for its size.

Inexpensive parking nearby.Really central location.

The room was really old-stylish (not in a fancy way of course).Lack of proper ventilation.

Comventiently located in downtown Mantua. Ok for on night, definitely nothing to stay longer.

The room was very small, windows to a small courtyard full of pigeons, the bathroom is in 50s style, very small and outdated.

The Staff was extremly helpful; for example on the return from night out they offered us a water. Great location, in the middle of the old town, supermarket is next door.

The hotel is a little old-fashioned, but that suited us perfectly. The rooms were clean, the staff were very kind, the breakfast was generous (for Italy) and the hotel was very well-situated, not far from the train station and on the edge of the old town. We were given a bottle of fizzy water every evening when we came in; a very thoughtful touch.

Location and extremely welcoming staff

Housekeeping came in my room every day, which I found very intrusive, and there was no ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign. I felt like I was back living with my parents!

The central location was an advantage. The staff were very helpful.

The car park to the hotel was a long distance to walk so was an issue with regard to transferring luggage. Parking outside the hotel problematic with very busy and chaotic traffic.

Nice traditional italian family hotel with great staff. Beautifully, nostalgic interior of the rooms.

The only thing is the noise, machines and cleaning vehicles in the morning (5 AM!), at this busy city square. But also noise of water runnings inside. Not for difficult sleepers.

Loud air-conditioning, a bit rundown interior.

Good hotel in a great location, immediately next to the pedestrian area in the town centre. Friendly and helpful staff. The decor and the facilities in the hotel are a bit dated, which also has a certain charm. Breakfast is OK, not great. You can get in front of the hotel by car to drop off the luggage, but parking is a few minutes walk away (it is cheap, though). Rooms are quiet at night.

No problems
