About
Villa Gasparini is housed in an 18th-century Venetian villa along the Naviglio Brenta River in Dolo. Once the summer residence of an aristocratic family, it features a garden with furnished patio, bar and free Wi-Fi. With an elegant décor and wood-beamed ceilings, all rooms at the Gasparini offer air conditioning, an LCD TV with satellite channels, and a mini-bar. You can enjoy a furnished patio and the villa's private garden and activities such as cycling in the surrounding areas. Venice and Padua are both 14 mi from the property. Tourist maps, together with timetables for buses servicing both cities, are available at reception.

- Overall the place is nice. The staff was polite. Breakfast was disappointing.I requested a double bed room and our double bed was basically two separate mattresses next to each other, very uncomfortable.
- good air conditioning, thoughtful interior, clean bed, firm mattress
- We were with dogs and all stuff were so nice, delicious breakfast but small choice, excellent nature around and spa bath
Cons -
- The bed. Uncomfortable, not a double mattress.I my opinion the most important part of a stay is the bed, I was disappointed.Breakfast can be improved.
- dirty room, mold in the shower, everything except the bed was very dirty, utensils for tomorrow were poorly washed, breakfast was not fully prepared according to the list
- Breakfast. They can work out on more selection. You have to pre-order breakfast and time when you eat.

Clean and location . My husband and I stayed here for 3 days before we went on a Viking Cruise. The Front Desk - Ricardo, Michaela and Elisa are all helpful and friendly. I will highly recommend Villa Gasparini. Ricardo took us from the hotel to the port of Fusina for only 25.00 Euros.
We spent 5 nights and really enjoyed our time there. The girl at the reception was honestly amazing always ready to help us.The breakfast was also really really good.
In our room the walls were a bit thin and we could hear the other guests.
Very cosy placeNice staffGood breakfastWarm place
Villa Gasparini is easy to find (using Google Maps) and it's easy to park the car opposite the hotel. This old villa is well kept up and is a lovely place. All the old villas along the road here used to be private homes, belonging to wealthy Venetian families. They don't serve dinner, but you can get a very good dinner nearby at the Restaurant Kalispera, which is open every night except Tuesday.
The facilities are nice, and the rooms are spacious.
For families with a baby, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. There’s no elevator, which can be inconvenient if you have large luggage, and the baby crib costs €15 per day as it's considered a special request. Most hotels nearby don’t charge for a crib, but this one does.Although the hotel claims there are no additional charges for babies under 1, adding a child to your booking increases the daily cost by €26, and this does not include the €15 crib fee. Additionally, the crib wasn’t in good condition, with the fabric at the top looking yellowed and dirty—something to be cautious of if your baby tends to put things in their mouth. The breakfast was disappointing. The eggs were microwaved, the cake was dry, and the americano didn’t taste right. Portions were small, and you have to choose 3 items from each category at check-in, but the options are limited. The form for breakfast is unclear, with small print that’s hard to read. In my experience, not everything we selected was served, and we had to ask for items again—so make sure you remember your choices! There’s no tea, coffee, or hot water for drinking provided in the rooms.
Less than good.
We had a parking spot in front of the Hotel and while we were inside for a check in someone tried to break in our car and they broke the car's back window. The staff didn't do anything, in this case I guess the manager of the place should show up to help or try to find a solution.
I can’t provide many details about this accommodation since I stayed only one night and left very early in the morning. Overall, it was what I expected for the price I paid. In short, I was satisfied.
Regarding the negative aspects, I would like to say that it seems disrespectful to charge an additional €5 for a city tax when the booking confirmation clearly states that all taxes are included. If there is indeed an additional fee, it would have been nice to specify it, just as you did for the pet fee.
Really nice people and clean place, a bus to Venice is right out of the door.(40 min to arrive)Parking is in front, do not listen to the strange reviews here that you "need to cross a dangerous road", it is a bit ridicules, the parking is literally 2 seconds in front of the hotel in a road with no cars.Breakfast is great.
room is a bit small but not a big deal.
Very nice place, at good location, very pleasant staff and host.
Everything was fine. Nice room, friendly professional staff.Delicious breakfast and good location .
Villa Gasparini is a sophisticated and charming place close to Venice. It has the atmosfeer of an old palace in Venice.
Although a pre-order of the breakfast was needed, there was a wide variety of food with no limit for the customer to decide. The breakfast personnel were very helpful and polite. Also, the rooms were nicely decorated with a unique vintage aesthetic. The backyard was also beautiful.
The bathroom wasn't quite clean, just as the rest of the room. There were many insects inside, and we had to kill 4 of them, neglecting the dust and the spider webs on the walls. Showering was also difficult due to the fact that there was just enough space for one to get into the shower, and the water only falling from above was making it even more impossible. Moreover, the parking, although it was free in a public area right in front of the hortel, didn't seem to be safe enough since there was a dangerous road to cross by.
The hotel's visual appeal was pleasant, and the staff were courteous and accommodating. Additionally, the free parking was a convenient amenity.
The hotel's marketing promised high-speed internet, but the connection was barely functional. Additionally, the cleanliness was subpar, with spiderwebs in the corners and floors that were not thoroughly cleaned. While the breakfast was delicious, the portions were disappointingly small.
Breakfast was very pleasant, at the inner courtyard. The place was comfortable for us to visit Venice and move to Lido di Jesolo.
A noisy road.
Staff were helpful and breakfast probably one of the best we have had at this type of establishment.A small boutique place.Decent restaurant just down the road.
Be aware that if you have mobility problems, then this place is not for you. Twenty steps to the first landing, and fourty to the next floor! My wife had great difficulty due to a leg problem. Stay clear of room 109 at the top under the roof. Bath is difficult to get into, no grab rail or anti slip mat. If you shower, it goes everwhere. The private parking noted is for One car, otherwise it's on the other side of the road. Evening meals are available, but are apparently of the frozen type. Plan to eat out.Be careful about using the address shown as it's a lane at the side of the villa, which is actually on the main road.
We chose this hotel on our road trip around Italy, and it was a great choice. The free parking right in front of the property was very convenient. The hotel offered excellent value, and the staff was very friendly—we were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist with a smile. The rich breakfast, which was included in the price, and the lovely garden with its chill atmosphere made our stay even better. While some guests mention that it can be loud at night, our room was perfectly quiet, and we had a great sleep before hitting the road the next day. Highly recommend this hotel!
