Hotel Rappensberger

The staff was very kind and helpful. There was a familial atmosphere that is becoming rare nowadays. The location of is amazing, right in the center of Ingolstadt. The room was nice, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the food in the hotel restaurant Il Castello. I can definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

Everything was great!

The rooms were clean and modern, compact but adequate. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the Altstadt with many restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent, with a mixture of cold cuts and a small choice of hot food. Parking (9 euro) was easy to access withing the hotel building.

Our room is at the 3rd floor, the room inside i think is newly renovated but outside the window is still old.The bed is very uncomfortable, it says Boxspring bed, but it was too old, two different beds put together, one bed is lower than the other..The TV is not working, want to call the reception through land line but also not working, so need to go downstairs, i ask the lady to come to the room to fix the TV and the telephone.

Rooms have A/C units in summer. Central location to Altstadt and ZOB Bus station

Room felt small, not ideal for longer stays but a good option for short layovers.

Hotel Rappensberger exceeded my expectations. It’s ideally located in the heart of Altstadt, making it very convenient. For me, the standout was the staff — absolutely 11/10 — they truly made the experience exceptional. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. I visit Ingolstadt once or twice a year, and from now on, this will be my go-to place to stay.

I have nothing negative to say about my stay at Hotel Rappensberger.

Our room was in the “new” track After a while we learned to maneuver to breakfast, the reception and the exit.

A perfect getaway in the heart of old Ingolstadt. The staff was friendly and gave us great recommendations for food and walking, parking was safe, and continental breakfast was delicious and ample. The beds were SUPER comfy. Highly recommend.

Like many old hotels, the water pressure was only okay... but you get your own bathroom, and there was even a vending machine for beer and wine.

Room was spacious. Breakfast was excellent and location was ideal for visiting Ingolstadt.

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the centre of Ingolstadt and we were particularly pleased with the secure, private underground parking. We are more than happy to pay for a locked garage in the centre of a town or city. The staff were all very friendly and helpful; reception, breakfast and room staff.Good sized room, lift, no noise from the road outside, desk with upright seat and two comfortable chairs (too often these days we find a room for two people only has one chair). Good sized bathroom with 2 wash handbasins. Sadly for us the restaurant was closed the evening we were there; we could see it is popular by the number of people there for lunch the next day. However, it was no problem because there is a lovely cafe / restaurant right opposite. Although there is no coffee / tea making facilities in the room, these are provided on the second floor. We found the breakfast good with ample variety.

The room was very cold when we arrived and, although we turned the heating up to full immediately, it stayed cold till bed time. Luckily 2 fleece blankets were provided, so we wrapped ourselves up in those to keep warm. We totally agree with not heating unoccupied rooms, but, if the hotel knows it is going to allocate a room in mid-winter, it would be welcoming to arrive to a cosy, warm room. The bathroom was equally cold, exacerbated but the freezing marble tiles on the floor. The floors on one side of the hotel are very creaky; avoid rooms in the old building and avoid the room right by the coffee making facilities!

Fairly good and comfortable place to stay in the centre of Ingolstadt. Secured underground parking. Large bathroom.

Slight smell ever present in the corridors of the hotel, comming probably from the hotel's kitchen.

The central light in the room was too intense, all you could see when you closed your eyes was negative effect rings, as if you had been looking at the sun!

Staff were the best, helpful and welcoming, Restaurant was exceptional- waiters attentive and knowledgeable.Room was large and comfortable with a small bathroom!

Small bathroom, very squeaky floors!

The location in the old city was perfect, close to bus lines also.The room was large with two chairs (which we love in a hotel room), the beds were comfortable and(because there were no traffic outside) the most quiet hotel room we have ever visited. No ventilation oranything - just quiet - perfect. Breakfast was plenty and good.

SO friendly, clean rooms, GREAT breakfast, perfect location and many room amenities. I will be back!

Coffee maker in hallway right by room was a bit loud, but that was pretty much it.
