McDreams Hotel Ingolstadt

This is a highway sleepover hotel and as such it is EXCELLENT. Cheap, clean, quiet and no frills. I will return

Room was clean and comfortable. Gas station and fast food within walking distance. Plenty of on-site parking.

Check-in process is a McNightmare. Despite the clean and comfortable room, everything else leaves you "on edge" because IF you get locked out (for whatever reason), you're screwed. So, I took my belongings with me whenever I left the room. It's next to impossible to get a human being on the phone to speak with, so the whole concept of this hotel seems to be "you're on your own". After check-out (11AM sharp), you cannot get back into the room, even if you left something of importance. All things considered, I won't return. From now on, I will only stay in hotels with a staff of at least 1 human on location.

Simply amazing. Super cool design and renovation. The size of the room is just right. No staff - everything in your phone and works perfectly. Comfy bed, AC, bathroom - all good. Really big and nice TV with opportunity to cast from your device. Good Wi-FI as well. And amazing value for money.

The only thing - some construction works started at the hotel at 10 am. We weren't sleeping already, but still it was a bit annoying.

The room as exactly as expected, furbished with anything required for a short stay.

The bathroom had a weird smell coming from the pipes and the fan was pretty loud (weirdly it was turning on when the light of the toilet was off). The self-check in was not explained greatly, and the assistance system with AI on whatsapp was not efficient at all (probably a better technology must be chosen for smth like this).Furthermore there has been a situation, few hours after the booking I got a message on whatsapp from a weird number, claiming to confirm my stay by clicking on a link, it was pretty clear that it was a sort of a scam, but they had data of the reservation such as date, booking number, my name and my phone number too. I wrote to both McDreams and Booking.com about that and unfortunately none of them had a proactive and collaborative reaction to this, McDreams denied immediately any involvement in this data leak (failing though to provide the reasons why they were so sure about it, besides a vague mention to a check by the IT-team), and the assistance of Booking.com did not reply AT ALL, which is absurd in such a situation. I don't know where this leak was coming from, but certainly the case was not treated properly by neither Hotel or Booking.

Was just the perfect place to spend the night as a stopover on a longer trip. Didn't expect more and was delighted, that the room matched the description.

The instructions could have been sent in advance, as multiple customers were stumped at the checkin terminal and it wasn't clear, whether an online checkin could allow one to just go to the room (answer: yes).

Uncomplicated self-check-in process. The location is on the outskirts, but luckily there's a large grocery store (Lidl?) right nearby. Plenty of parking spaces. A good option for a one-night stay for car travelers.

​The room lock is awful. I had to download the video instructions just to understand how it works. Perhaps it's a common lock type in Bavaria, but to a foreigner it looked strange.

Clean, good communication a few places to eat, calm place good for owner night stay

The pillows could be more comfortable ant the bathroom could use more storage

The room was clean

the room was too warm in the summer. No ventilation, no airco. Noisy road close to the hotel. Opening the window at 30° at night was not an option. Paid over 60 euros and it was not worth.

The fire alarm woke everyone in the hotel at 5:20am ?

The room is very nice and clean. Bathroom is very nice. Supermarket is nearby is a plus.

Cheap ,clean, convenient for Autobahn, Backerei downstairs for Breakfast

The overall stay was nice. Room was clean and comfortable.

The location is not ideal being inside a shopping complex, but the nearby city, 30 minutes walking, is beautiful.

Locatikn; quite far from highway. The electric car chargers do not comply with many passes... In the vicinity at the gas station there are chargers that do comply with all electric car charge passes, however you don't want to leave your car there all night...We stayed at the hotel 2 now and booked for the 3rd time - each time I have to give my details al over again...The hotel has the information, why ask things over and over again?

Location and very cozy

The fan inside the toilet was working 24/7. Except for that this hotel looks perfect!!And curtain could not block the lights from outside!!

Very practical, no staff and 24 hour check in, clean and comfortable room, good value for money. Bakery in the building offers breakfast

Very good location close to A9 motorway. Excellent option to sleep overnight on the way to Italy. Clean rooms. Very good quality to price ratio.
