Hotel Salo Du Parc

Hotel Saló du Parc is an excellent location. The people are nice, a warm welcome, the boulevard around the corner. Absolute treat.

Everything , rooms were spacious as well as the bathroom. Close to center , clean and cozy

The location of the hotel was excellent on the lake and near the center of Salo’. The breakfast in the lovely dining area was outstanding. We were also allowed to park directly in front of the hotel which was very convenient when traveling with our two Westies. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Since we were traveling at the end of April it was not anticipated that we would need air conditioning. The room was quite warm, but this was alleviated by keeping the door to the balcony open.

Views were great. Very clean and friendly staff. Within walking distance to downtown. Breakfast was incredible. Parking lot was very safe and secure.

Beds were very firm. Paid a €30 pet fee but pet wasn’t allowed to pee on site. My wife was scolded and rudely told to take our pet off the property and across the road for our dog to use the bathroom. This rule was never mentioned nor was there any signage. (One particular staff member. Everyone else was lovely)

Beautiful view and sounds of nature. Large, comfortable room with terrific shower and bathroom. Love the breakfast.Impeccable staff. Perfect location, walking distance you can enjoy good meals, go shopping, take boat tours.

The rooms are very comfortable all with a view of Lake Garda.The lovely town of Salo is a less than 5 minute stroll away. From there you can explore all of the Lake Garda towns by ferry.The staff are friendly and efficient.

Breakfast was good.

Pool could have been slightly heated.Dinner menu didn't cater for all tastes. Some more simpler fish and pasta dishes.

Very little, a minor point is that the parking in the garage opposite the hotel is a faff - two keypads and three floors down .

We liked the location very much. The pool was excellent and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

The air con could have been more effective. The meats and cheese at breakfast need to be covered to avoid contact with flies.

This is lovely hotel with a beautiful garden down to the lake. Our room was large and comfortable. The view from the terrace was stupendous. The breakfast is many choices and the service attentive. All the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The location is a few yards from the lungolago and the bars and restaurants. We are already planning our next trip.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgable - the hotel was a very convenient location. I liked the fact you could swim in the lake as well as they had a great size swimming pool. The garden was beautifully manicured.

Although the hotel was clean - it could do with slight refurb - the corridors (colours /carpets) - bedrooms/bathrooms could be made more modern (light colours) to make it more fresher. Red carpet is quite outdated and especially with the heat, it could look very beautiful.

Large Balcony looked over the lake. Comfortable room. Great breakfast. Nice pool and pool bar. Friendly / helpful staff. Close to boat dock. Easy walk to many restaurants or enjoy the on site restaurant.

No improvements come to mind.

The people couldn’t do enough for you. Very helpful with suggestions for dinner and booking for you. The breakfast was lovely - plenty of options. The homemade cake every morning was gorgeous! Rooms are basic but as described and value for money.

There wasn’t always enough loungers around the pool which was tricky - a shame as the pool was lovely and clean with beautiful views.

Wonderful Hotel - TOP MARKS!My wife and I have just enjoyed an amzing week at this lovely hotel. Set right by Lake Garda with gorgeous uninterrupted views from almost every room the location is perfect. A few minutes walk into the centre of Salo along a purpose built lakeside path and you are at the ferry station. The town has all the amenities you could hope for on a holiday with lots of shops, cafe’s and comfortable spots to sit and watch the world go by. My wife and I stayed at Hotel Salo Du Parc for a week to include breakfast and evening meal. Both provided an excellent array of food. Full English and loads of continental options for breakfast and a 4 course menu every night for evening dinner. I have to say I’ve stayed at many hotels with these options but the food here is top class. No repeats on the dinner, everything beautifully cooked and presented and delivered by a fantastic crew who work tirelessly to look after their guests. Our room (410) at the furthest corner was kept spotlessly clean with fresh towels daily.

I asked my wife on our last day what she might suggest to improve things. It took a few minutes before either of us could come up with anything and the only item we missed was a bath! However, the walk in shower was lovely. Maybe a clear communication that the water served at dinner was at cost (€4)?
