Hotel Galeazzi

Location was good for the port area and supermarket nearby. Pool and outside lounge area was reasonably large and comfortable. Breakfast was probably the best we’ve had during our 10 days in Italy (which included an expensive 5*) and service was good. Good coffee aswell!. Rooms were clean, well arranged and comfortable. Big ‘shout out’ for Sarah on reception who was extremely helpful on everything!

A bit close to the main road, which meant a little bit of noise but nothing major.

Breakfast was very good. Location was good for the lake and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Shower was very small.

the room was lovely. pool area was nice. breakfast was fantastic. most the staff were excellent especially at breakfast and Sara on the front desk.

one member of staff whom won’t be named was a little jarring and unhelpful at times. the road does provide a noisy soundtrack that sadly does affect the peacefulness during the day. but front our room the traffic and road didn’t cause an issue.

The restaurant only provided us breakfast (apparently didn’t serve lunch or dinner which was confusing). The food was good, wide selection and staff friendly. The location was close to gardone ferry terminal which was useful.

The rooms were not as expected - they were not as described and I would go as far to say we were somewhat catfished. The air conditioning would just not work unless you took the keycard out however this would stop all other power in the room (this small trick was one we discovered on our last night). The rooms themselves felt very dark and small.The place was clean, we’ll give it that. The bathroom was pleasant although shower small and toilet seat cracked and clearly too small for the toilet it was attached to. The view of the lake is minimal however this was considerably distorted in the pictures. The light from the passage would stream into the bedroom, which was already unbearably warm therefore making it hard to sleep however to top it off, the walls were made of toilet paper (not literally) to the point we could hear conversations and people sneezing at 4am? The lift was particularly questionable as often it felt like it was unstable, about to break and drop. The reception staff although trying to be helpful actually made things more effort for us than it was worth. Transport directions poor and when we asked for a taxi to be booked to the train station, we were essentially laughed at? The pool although small cannot really be commented on as we did not use it and other facilities generally lacked

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the girl at reception Sorry I didn't take her name. The room and bathroom were very nice and clean we had a small balcony with a lake view which was nice to sit on early in the evening. The pool area was ok and breakfast was good. 40 min walk back to Saló but mostly pavement or could catch the local bus stop outside the hotel. We found a nice couple of restaurants across the road both next to the lake and 5 min walk. there is a very good supermarket about 170 metres up the road and next to it another cafe/bar with a lovely garden out back with great views. Family baker next door to hotel and a further cafe/bar next door too. Underground parking and we were able to leave bikes down there too.

The hotel is near a noisy road but wouldn't put us off going again. We weren't made aware that air con is managed by reception so be aware. Pool area and outside seating area needed a bit of garden maintenance general tidy up as grass bit overgrown and weeds for a 4 star hotel.

The hotel was a short walk from the lake, local restaurants and water taxis.The pool was well stocked with loungers and the gardens were lovely.The staff, particularly Sarah and Aziz were very helpful and kind. The owner came out with his brolly to keep us dry when loading up the car!The breakfast was delicious- coffee made perfectly to your liking and a lot of choice.

Staff at the desk and cleaners were incredibly helpful and polite. Found my phone for me which saved my holiday

Ideal location for being away from the main part of town, to feel like we could relax in piece, quiet and comfort at the hotel or take the short walk to the Lake/Gardone for dinner/lunch or to catch the ferry to explore further afield.Wonderful sized room, which was clean and left immaculately each day, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely each morning and the hotel itself is stylish in a 'throw' back way - this is a grown up hotel, for grown up guests. We will be back.

We wouldn't change a thing - apart from another guest pinched our brolly out of the umbrella stands - not the hotels fault!

Expected to pay full price for parking motorbike. We did get a discount to 10€ per day in the end.Shower wasn't great, cubicle was small.

hotel is little bit old, but very nice and clean… breakfast was very good comparing it to Italian standard… no reason not to recommend it!!!

The property is dog friendly, 5 mons walk to the lake, clean and with a various breakfast.

The hotel itself is quite regular, but the staff makes it really nice.Special shoutout to the young lady (working a lot !) that has been super super nice and helpful. Great energy that makes you feel good ! thanks for that !

you have to be quite reactive in the morning if you want to get a chair by the pool. but besides that nothing to declare !

road is a little noisy but didn’t affect our sleep.

The hotel is very pretty, the staff were warm and friendly plus it was lovely and clean. We loved the rooms and the breakfast was great. It is only a 3 min walk to the lake and the fantastic Gardone Riviera restaurants and lake boats. Fabulous size family room with 2 bedrooms and a shared bathroom, superb.

The double bedroom needed a mirror in it plus maybe a shelf in the bathroom for your toiletries and more hangers in the wardrobes. It is not really the hotels fault but there was always big bags of rubbish and bins outside the entrance to the hotel grounds which was unfortunate. Don't be put off but more be warned that you have to walk past it but it's not the hotels and their grounds are beautiful.

The grounds are very pretty. Breakfast was excellent. The pool area was really nice as well. Our room had a lovely verandah with partial views of the lake. The room itself was quite small but clean with a nice ensuite.

We had some issues with a quite rude staff member. The air con is controlled centrally by reception so we couldn't adjust it without calling them. The air con was also quite loud. There is a lot of noise from the busy street.
