Amazing breakfast

Is a mountain location and I mentioned in the special request that I would like a warm room. Apparently they got a ventilation only but takes hours to get warmer and the only radiator they have in the bathroom is working at certain hours - only between 5-10pm. You expect it to work from the moment you check in or to even await for you working… another issue was that they don’t provide duvets. Only a very thin microfiber blanket for sofa (but on the bed). Is a great traditional mountain stay, but heating is part of the comfort, especially in a cold place.

Two single mattress was in a king size bed and during the sleep they were splitting in the bed. The noise from flushing the water from nearby.

Location is great ( I knew that ), breakfast fantastic and the reception effective.

Room was very dated and could have benefited from a refurb

Location was perfect. Short walk from station, and centre of village. Professional and friendly staff. Room looked newly refurbished, spotlessly clean, and were quiet at night.

There was nothing to fault with the property.

Sheltered us from the rain and staff were lovely. Jacuzzi bath was lovely, however it sounded like a plane landing. Breakfast was fine.

We were in a comfort double room (265) that looked like it was last renovated when the foundations for the place were laid. There was mould around the bath seal that needed replacing and there was a waterproof mattress protector on the bed that made you sound like you were sleeping in a crisp packet all night. The hotel feels like the kind I’d go on on a school trip. Personally wouldn’t stay again but it’s somewhere warm to lay your head.

View over city walls. Easy walk through old town down to the famous bridge. 5 minute walk to train station to catch half hourly trains to Venice.

Great location, private parking and friendly staff.

The hotel is not brand new, and although everything is fairly tidy, there is a noticeable smell, like cigarette smoke absorbed into the fabrics and carpets.

Breakfast is alright, sufficient choice, yogurts and fruits, meat and eggs, etc. Aperol spritz cocktail costs super pleasantly and tastes very well! Loved the view from the window.

There is room for the service improvement, overall friendliness of the staff.Coffee was horrible, impossible to drink, that’s the biggest downside.

Cheese, cold cuts, gluten-free pastries, were good, as were fruits and yogourt.

No hot meats or sausages, pancakes were served cold, no hot eggs.

Old buildings don't feel like it is well taken care of. Some of the things felt dusty, like rugs and curtains. Not enough stuff in the breakfast, so it was difficult to find a place to sit. The room wasn't cleaned until 16:00, we travelled with a baby so for us it was really too much time without taking out the trash.

Great breakfast and location close to Old City.

Room was on the small side (booked 18 sqm, so my fault) and sometimes noisy: could hear people in neighbouring room due to poor sound insulation.

Friendly staff, great location near the old town / center, easy access, underground parking garage (additional fee), great breakfast, lovely Christmas vibe/decorations and overall a nicely maintained property that dates in 19th century.

No slippers in the room, but its not a big deal :)

The room was clean, comfortable and had good facilities. We arrived in a heat wave (mid-30s) but thankfully the air conditioning was excellent. The food in the restaurant was good, but the restaurant is not open every evening. There are restaurants within walking distance: most are about 10 to fifteen minutes from the hotel.The hotel is quite grand, with quirky and interesting decor (including suits of armour and a vintage motorcycle in one reception area!). The staff were generally helpful with one or two exceptions. The hotel is situated just outside the historic centre so access by car is easy and there is a car park under the hotel. The main attractions of the town such as Ponte Vecchio and the Grappa Museum are a ten to fifteen-minute walk from the hotel.

Access to the car park is quite tight and the parking spaces are a little narrow. Some very large modern cars might have a problem.Breakfast service was a bit chaotic. The food was good, but the breakfast room was very crowded and customers were having to squeeze between tables to get to the food and coffee. The breakfast room staff were not very attentive and simply walked past several people who were looking for assistance. One of the reception staff could definitely do with some customer service training (she was quite rude).
