About

Surrounded by the green hills of the famous Prosecco road, just 1.2 mi from the center of the city of Conegliano, in a panoramic position not far from the medieval castle, stands "Relais le Betulle". An ideal base to stay, just a few minutes from the Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto Sud motorway exits and from the Conegliano city center. Spacious and bright, the rooms feature a modern design, satellite TV and a fully equipped bathroom, as well as free wi-fi throughout the entire hotel. Le Betulle offers a continental buffet breakfast that ranges from savory to sweet with many homemade desserts. Inside the structure there is an independently managed restaurant (closed one day a week) which offers both local and international dishes. In the autumn, winter and spring seasons we have an outdoor garden with a breathtaking view of the hills where you can read a good book or simply enjoy a bit of relaxation. For a fee and by reservation there is also an intimate wellness center with hydromassage tub, sauna and Turkish bath with herbal teas available. We also have a new Zero-Body bed by Starpool which allows the body and mind to recover energy by eliminating the force of gravity. Use of the outdoor infinity pool is available from June to the end of September (weather permitting) and is accessible free of charge to guests of the property from the day of arrival until the check out time on the day of departure. Last but not least, the recently inaugurated Suite Spa Rooms offer a micro-bubbles designer tub for one or two people and a steam bath with the aromas of eucalyptus, mint and maracuja, chrome lights and music to enjoy without leaving the own room of an intimate and modern wellness space. Whether it's a short break or a longer period, "Relais le Betulle" is a 4-star structure to experience the nearby UNESCO heritage area or to reach Venice or the Dolomites in an hour.

    Pros +

    • Everything was exceptional, the staff, the facility, the breakfast, the cleanliness, comfort, and location.
    • Never again and not recommending
    • Our second time in the hotel, it is at an excellent location with winyards in walking distance, the town of Conegliano within 5 minutes drive. You can bring your dog, there're plenty of them and everyone is really cool about them.Great variety at breakfast. The pool is great, and you can also take your dog to the pool-side, which is quite unique. Staff is very kind all around. Rooms are nice and quiet.

    Cons -

    • The location being only 7 min to train was unusually difficult to get a ride arranged in a taxi or uber. Hotel should staff a full time driver to accommodate guests.
    • Not worth the money. The photos is nothing like in real world. We got an old small bathroom with hardly water pressure where the photos showed a new walk-in shower. Room was simple, like most Italian hotels but priced almost double. Bed was not good. Restaurant staff was uninterested and food was below average
    • The staff of the wine bar completly ignored us sitting outside. We were not served at all after waiting for more than 20 minutes. But need to say that this wine bar is not managed by the hotel.

There are still a lot of wasps around the swimming pool, some people have suffered bites. We saw the problem already last year, unfortunately it hasn't improved much. Perhaps something could be done. There also mosquitoes, including the Aedes Aegyptii, which is also active during the day. Windows are open all along the corridors, doors are wide open and the cleaning staff also opens the terrace doors during cleaning, which means they have a free pass to get inside the building. Mosquito nets on the windows/terrace doors could help a lot as well as not keeping all doors open all the time. Technical solutions also exist with both UV-zappers or chemical anti-mosquito devices. The air conditioning didn't really cool down the air in the gym, which would have been very welcome.

It was a beautiful property and very comfortable and clean.

Secluded. If that is what you are looking for then this is the place. You will need a car.

Great location with a perfect view to the city in the valley and beautiful mountains. Modern, clean, well equipped and well insulated rooms. Nice breakfast, convenient parking, decent restaurant.

Wifi covered my room poorly, not possible to use. At the time gym was not operative.

The pool was an absolute blessing in the heat and the air conditioning made it extra comfortable. The room and bathroom were immaculate. We ate dinner in the restaurant our first night and were not at all disappointed with our meal or wine. After reading the VERY mixed reviews we are pleased to confirm that it is an excellent place to stay for the gateway to the Prosseco Hills.

My only feedback would be the upkeep of the pool and outdoor areas. Not as meticulously cared for as the hotel interior.

Awesome hotel for people travelling with their pets. Not only could our dog stay with us, she could be with us also by the pool, which was great (she was not allowed in the pool of course). There are some wineyatds right outside where pets can easily do their business (and owners can clean it up).The room was nice, although we asked for a change as the room with pool-view was very bright early in the morning as the sun shone through the thin curtain. Many rooms don't have shutters, bear this in mind if you are used to dark rooms. Soundproofing is very good though, we never heard any neighbours. Breakfast is nice and fresh. The on-site restaurant is also nice with good prices both on drinks and food. All the people in the staff were super-friendly.The hotel is at a good location with a beautiful view around and with several wineyards within 35 minutes drive.

Curtains are a bit too thin.Pool seems to be missing some tiles. The main doors are always open, which means both hot air and mosquitoes can easily enter. They could probably spare a lot of money not trying to cool the outside air.

Relais Le Betulle is a serene retreat nestled in the Prosecco hills, featuring newly renovated, spacious rooms that offer comfort and stunning views. The hotel’s amenities, including a pool, small gym, and spa, contribute to a relaxing stay, although it's worth noting that the spa is closed during the summer. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby vineyards, with Conegliano’s Castle and city center just a few minutes away. The breakfast is a highlight, offering fresh pastries and fruits to start your day.

However, there are some areas for improvement. The restaurant is not open for lunch, and the poolside bar offers limited options, lacking the ability to prepare even basic paninis or fresh fruit cocktails. This was disappointing, leading us to skip dinner at the hotel’s restaurant in favor of a local Osteria, which turned out to be an excellent choice.

    The property setting is gorgeous.

There’s a pool bar, but rarely anyone at it to serve you. There were wine bottles left around the pool area from the night before and not cleared until late in the afternoon. Umbrellas aren’t put out unless you ask for them, but there’s not really anyone around for you to ask.

Pool was open, and room was fine, but a little out of date. The reception desk staff was very friendly. I asked a few requests to call local restaurants, and he quickly helped me.

It's 4 star hotel, but there are several noticeable stains on the room floor. Also, it was not easy to visit anywhere without car.

The hotel has a nice location situated on the top of a hillside overlooking Conegliano. Rooms were spacious, if a little tired looking, and breakfast was good with lots of options.

Facilities were not as advertised when I booked. Both the spa and restaurant were closed, as was the only restaurant in walking distance so I had to get taxis to go out and eat which was 20 EUR each way. Also, I asked to extend my checkout by 1hr due to the timing of trains and the fact there was nothing else open to do in the hotel and they wanted to charge me 30% of a 1-night stay which seems outrageous.I asked to speak to management multiple times about the lack of facilities and the fact that they had not notified me of this in advance and I was constantly told they were not available. Clearly customer service is not a priority for them and I therefore can’t recommend staying here.

The room was comfortable. The view and the pool also provided the additional relaxation element we were looking for. The staff was great at giving us the perfect itinerary to explore the Wine Road

I stayed second time in this hotel. Perfect place. with excellent restaurant. They have a nice garden with swimmingpool and bar. Breakfast can be taken on the terras in summer. SPectacular overview over the valley.

Nothing, apart from asking €5 for a pool towel. Should be included.

The breakfast was typical, but good! The pool area was spacious and clean. The room was big, clean, and had plenty of storage. The hotel overall was great! The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. We appreciated that the front desk was able to call and make a reservation at a restaurant for us.

The hotel itself and the food provided was nice. But the negative experience outweighed the positives!

What can I say! Unfortunately I have to share my honest experience as the hotel management have refused to deal with the situation properly and instead have threatened to sue should we write our review (I checked with Booking.com and I can write this review). Not great customer service for a distressing situation! I always believe in giving a place a chance to fix things before judging and telling everyone. But the chance was sadly not taken by them! My friend and I (both young women in our late 20's) were getting changed and I was turned away from my friend facing the window/balcony, naked with only a thong on (the hotel is very rural with no chance of people seeing me). My friend then spotted via looking at the reflection on the TV screen the pool/maintenance guy leaning over the balcony next to us and staring at me naked. This was only about 3 metres in distance from me! As you can imagine this was shocking, distressing and made us both feel unsafe.  What was even more surprising was how the hotel has handled or better yet NOT HANDLED this voyeurism. Voyeurism is a crime! After two emails to them that felt were ignored they responded promptly once I contacted Booking.com. Their reasoning was laughable and their investigation was not thorough. So if you want to book a hotel where you, your travel companions and family feel safe, I would not recommend here! The hotel clearly doesn't care that this man works around the pool and that he has total access to the bedrooms incase he needs to "change a lightbulb". Luckily my friend just so happened to witness the pool man staring at me naked, but what about the people that haven't noticed?

Lovely views and patios. Staff members were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Breakfast patio was a wonderful place to begin the day.

Pool and hot tub not open in late April. Mattress was a bit too soft for our liking.

relaxing atmosphere with very nice view! I had a massage from Sandra, really professional ! Restaurant also on a high level and reasonable prices

The pool was not cleaned, even if the season didn’t started add would be nicer to look on a proper pool
