Hotel Leon d'Oro

Central location. Helpful and pleasant staff

We felt like it needed some maintenance and upgrading. The shower needed some fresh grouting and the bedside tables were worn.Breakfast selection was fair, eggs were not kept warm.

The breakfast was very good, with a rich variety of food and drinks, and especially good apple juice, try it out! All staff - cleaning, breakfast room, reception were very helpful and kind. Interestingly, the hotel has a self-service "honor" system through which you can get drinks 24 hours a day.Another nice thing - the hotel stay earned us free transport within Trentino, and free museum access.

Everything perfect. Clean rooms and beds. Daily cleaning. In addition, in time for the Christmas market which was a bonus.

Hard beds, but this is a subjective view and my preference.

Had a delicious glass of Chardonnay on the charming terrace during late afternoon. Also, the breakfast was great, the dining room and common areas all beautiful.

Nothing I can think of -

I chose the property mainly for the central location to visit both Trentino and Lake Garda, and with the Trento Card they provided it was very easy to use public transportation to get around. The friendly staff were very helpful in answering all my questions. Breakfast was enjoyable. Clean and comfortable facilities. I only used the pool once but it too was clean.

Nothing although maybe if the pool water was warmer I might have enjoyed the swim more.

The bedroom was a good size as was the bathroom and the pool was a welcome relief

The receptionists were very polite. Very nice room. Parking.

Somebody entered in the room while I was sleeping saying that was testing the door locks. Short after a couple of people started to drill all room doors of the floor with an electric drill to replace the door locks. There was no notice of such work. This episode made me realize that at the hotel leon D'Oro they have no respect for the guests. It doesn't deserve to have 4 stars. Never again.

The location was convenient; easy walking to restaurants and city centre. Staff provided good recommendations. The pool area is quite nice although the actual pool is quite small.

There is no air-conditioning or fans, although the listing said there was AC and the staff kept telling us it would be fixed. Although it was cool outside in the evening, there was no way to get the cool air into the room. I would not visit this property again in the summertime.

Excellent hotel close to Train station and the City centre. Very clean and relaxing place to stay.

In a Hotel that nice I would expect a bar to have a beet with my friends.

Great location to explore Rovereto on foot. Big, well appointed room. Large bed, with good mattress. Free parking in front if the hotel.

The place was nicely furnished

Firstly, the AC did not work at all. They also offered to move us to another room, but the AC was not working there either.beside, the vent is so small that I doubt the AC would be effective in any case. The bathroom was missing any place to put shampoo and soap in the shower and in general there was little room for anything.

Wifi dropped with poor signal. End room so I suspect easily fixed with an extender

We came over the alps by bike and these was the best hotel on our trip.Very clean and quiet room + you could use the shutter window - best sleep on all these day's.Further we could use a washing service.Also the location is perfect - direct in the city.

Beautiful hotel, very conveniently located

Temperature cannot be controlled in the room so you have to call reception. Bathroom never heated up. Mattress and cushions are very hard. No flip flops provided in the room.
