Athos Hotel

The Hotel is very cosy with easy access to Riva. The restaurant is fantastic, we went there every evening and I can only recommend it. Also, the breakfast was rich and plenty.

Although we booked a bigger room with 2 dogs, it was rather small. That's the only negative thing I have to mention.

1. Good location, 20 mins walking to the centre of Riva del Garda.2. The breakfast was very okay.3. The bed was very comfortable.4. The room and the bathroom were clean.4. The accomodation gave us free bus pass for the surrounding region.

I'm not satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The only positives were: parking, check-in at night, and the waitress in the restaurant during breakfast, who was very polite and helpful.

I didn't like many aspects of my stay.Most disappointing was that I was given a completely different room than the one I booked. The photos of the room I booked showed a renovated bathroom. Instead, we were given a very old and small room with a bathroom that was different from the photos shown under that room category. I understand that not all rooms need to be renovated, but it's important not to mislead hotel guests and also include photos of bathrooms that are not renovated. Personally, the bathroom is a priority for me when booking, so I was disappointed in this regard. I immediately reported it to reception, but was told there were no other available rooms and I could have notified them earlier if I wanted a renovated room - if I hadn't been sure that the room was renovated (I was sure because the photos indicated so), I would have done so. But I was misled. The receptionist's response was: maybe we should also include those photos, but...Breakfast - unfortunately, very basic, lacking good bread or vegetables.Air conditioning - not important to me, but it's worth knowing that with temperatures at 25 degrees during the day, it gets so hot at night that it's impossible to sleep without opening the windows. And since our room faced the street, it was very loud with the windows open.

The location was good. There is a lot of choice for breakfast. Stuff was nice and friendly.

We do not recommend their restaurant. We went there for dinner. Pizza was disgusting, cheese on top of pizza was sweet and like chewing gum, some liquid was floating on top of pizza. Not recommend it at all. We also ordered some plate with different kind of see food, not good. Not even salty, everything was just imposed on a plate. It is supposed to be a fancy restaurant, but it is not.

Building and restaurant looked nice and modern. Food was very good, as well as friendly restaurant staff.

The room was smaller than expected. Broken door to the balcony. There was a second balcony (much larger), to which we had no access, but guests from another room could enter and watch through the window into our room. The bathroom was old-fashioned and not as modern as it looked in the pictures. The worst was that the hotel staff was arguing that it was not a big problem when we informed them about finding the broken door on the balcony. Definitely not worth the price (if not less) - for the same price one can stay in a nice chain hotel with a top service.

The lovely receptionist Camilla was so helpful, we had a long hot day on our motorbikes and when we arrived Camilla had a beer waiting for us ❤️.some rooms are being refurbished which wasn't a problem for us.our rooms were very clean and comfortable

Restaurant and bar was shut which was a shame because breakfast was outstanding but overall great place.

It was clean and staff were very nice. Good breakfast.

The air conditioning was very weak. It was hardly felt.
