The breakfast staff were lovely

I initially booked/ paid  444 Euro for a Jr Suite from 11/11 to 11/13 2025.I then booked an extra night for 11/13/25 to 11/14/25.I called the hotel in advance to ask if I could stay in same room and was told that “ yes” I could.  What I did not understand and that was unbeknownst to me, was that my room was “ downgraded” to a queen sized room, however I was still expected to pay the “ suite price” for 11/12 and 11/13 for 444 Eur.  I was then told by the reception that if I canceled with Booking. Com on 11/14/25, they would discount the room for 104 Euro.   So I canceled with Booking.Com per their suggestion.  I thought, however that I would get that discounted price for the SMALLER room for the entire stay, since It is so much less per night for a much smaller ( queen size bed)I called Booking.com to say that my room should be less since it was SMALLER and was told by your customer service that “ I needed to work that out with the hotel directly”Of course,  the hotel said I needed to work it out with Booking. Com for the lower price ( smaller room), so I was being bounced around like a ping pong ball!!!The hotel became so annoyed with me trying to get the lower price for the now  smaller room, they actually canceled the room I was supposed to stay in on 11:14/25 thus leaving me without a room to stay in ( essentially kicking me out).  It was UNBELIEVABLE.  I asked WHY?.  I was simply told your room is no longer available for 11/14/25.In addition, this “very young” and RUDE female had such a horrible attitude, it was appalling.  I told her this about herself, which made the hotel personnel even more annoyed, rather than saying, “ I’m so terribly sorry for the confusion, what can we do to resolve this?”

The staff - they were friendly, available, competent, prompt. It was the staff that made our stay really exceptional. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, breakfast was tasty with an extensive variety of hot and cold food. Excellent location within 7 min walking distance from the town centre.

The hotel was in a good central location, within walking distance of Gorizia Centrale station. The room was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was very good.

Price was on the high side compared with similar hotels of this standard

Location is great. Short distance to city center. Breakfast is good and the room we got in the second place was very nice. Thank you to the staff, which changed our room directly due to a problem in the bathroom.

The lobby is currently under construction and some of the rooms deserves some "reconstruction" too. Rooms can be quite tiny . Bathroom itself is ok.

Centrally located hotel, spacious room with balcony, very comfy bed, nice staff and clean bathroom. Appreciated the complimentary coffee and the late check-out. Parking was easy, great restaurant (La Tarantella) and gelateria nearby.

The mattress are quite old and the pillow are low and too hard.

Fantastic value for money, especially compared to hotels in neighbouring Nova Gorica. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with complimentary water, coffee and tea. Free parking is a big bonus.

We rented 2 rooms, one single and a double. Rooms are neither big nor small, just right and clean, the breakfast had a wide selection of whatever you wish for.The parking is in the premises, you will have to drive a really narrow corridor which is manageable unless you have a huge car. Parking there is free on first come first served rule. If there are no free parking spaces left in the premises there is also parking in front of the hotel rooms and you can pay at the automatic machines a reasonable price.We recommend this hotel, it was our second stay and we would return anytime!

The room was big and clean witha balcony, the staff was very nice and the hotel was in a good position.

The heating on the floor was way too high. When we stepped out from the lift, it looked like we stayed inside a sauna. We actually didn't border to ask about because we stayed just one night, and I believe they knew about it. Maybe there was a malfunction.

The hotel is not looking very charmeful from outside but is totally fine. Very useful is the free parking in the back of the building. The old center of Gorizia is just a short walk away. Stuff is friendly, the breakfast was offering a quite huge selection of food.

Great location! The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was well worth the extra cost.

Beds were hard for some travelers preference.

Everything! The location is perfect, rooms are big and clean, beds are comfortable. No smell, perfect air conditioning, fantastic staff, polite and speaks good English. The breakfast is incredible and free for the kids(!).

Excellent breakfast. Great selection of fruits, very tasty bread and the right size of coffee cups. Brealfast exceed my expectations.

The lack of parking space in the garage.

Everything. Brilliant breakfast. The staff are the same as they have been for the past 8 years since the first time we stayed here. Free coffee in reception is a definite winner. As I have lots of family who live in and around Gorizia, we were able to invite them back for a coffee(s) and extra long chats. One of them is in a wheelchair and parking was provided for them even they weren’t guests, so as to make it easier to access the hotels for a coffee. The rooms are a little outdated, but they are fully equipped with everything you could want. And breakfast - everything was super tasty and lots of of choices.

We liked the warm welcome, Alessandro and the young lady from the front desk were really helpfull with all information.The hotel is clean and confortable. Whoever is in charge is doing a wonderful job. Congratulations also to all the staff, everybody seems to work with pleasure.The free parking place is safe inside the hotel yard if you manage to find a free spot. If not you can find a free spot in front of hotel and pay a couple of euros.The breakfast was delicious and diversified and you can find everything for everybody.We would anytime gladly return to this hotel!

Excellent food, big room. Reception very helpful. Location great for visiting places + lots of restaurants nearby. Can access all local sites and train station short walk away.
