    Pros +

    • The place was really clean, food was decent, good selection of wine, and the lady at reception was very gracious to allow us to check-in earlier than the published check-in time.
    • We had two separate rooms, and we each had our own bathroom. This is a rare find in Europe! Very clean, and the breakfast looked amazing (but we had to leave very early). We walked from the train station, and enjoyed the location, right in the center of old town. Feels like an AirBNB, because there is no front desk or staff.
    • Did check in on line as they are not always at the hotel in person. Their message says until 3 pm and from 5-7pm. They give you the code to get in and have the keys at the reception desk. Mostly there is no one at the reception area all day. They work the restaurant. Room 25, deluxe king room with Mountain View. The view was not very nice as we were looking right into the back of the buildings next door and into their balconies, but we did have some views of the mountains behind them. The hotel is located right next to the main parking lot at the center of the village (prices are very low, 9 euros for a day and a half) and next to coffee shops and bars. It’s an older building but awesomely done inside with glass floors at the hallways of the hotel. Nice room, very contemporary design throughout, nice bigger shower and eco friendly. Price included breakfast. It has two small balconies and very nice big windows, with black out drapes I front of the wall to close the ceiling area that has glass. They leave you reusable bottles for water with their logo. Breakfast was okay, mostly continental with some local cheese and meats, boiled eggs and stuffed croissants and fruit. The older gentleman at the restaurant made an excellent cappuccino.

    Cons -

    • If there was someone at the front desk. Having said that, they do answer the phone and provide all the answers.
    • Breakfast are simple, it would be nice to get some hot meal.
    • More places to hang towels in the bathroom

Very good location in the old town of a city, 5min walk from railway station. Very good restaurant at the first floor. New big modern apartments, but stairs could be little scary for those who are afraid of height.. We liked it :)Nice view from a terrace on top.

Breakfast are simple, it would be nice to get some hot meal.

Then check-in staff was phenomenal. She immediately heard us rolling our luggage and popped outside to lend us a hand, knowing exactly who we were. What a wonderful greeting! That evening we ate in the restaurant and were very impressed with the every dish served to us, but more importantly the friendly wait staff who helped us choose just the right wine!

    Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Beautifully modern hotel in Tirano only a short walk from the train station. Delicious breakfast. Online check-in was speedy and arrival was quick and easy. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in the area.

The hotel was a wonderful surprise. It was even better than the photos. Very modern and updated. Simple self check-in process made it so simple after a long day of travel. The room was lovely. Spacious and bright and SUPER clean. All the conveniences. Bed was very comfortable. Nice lounge on the 1st floor with a vending area, coffee machine, sitting area etc. We loved that the hotel also provided complimentary bottle to fill your water. Beautiful rooftop terrace for relaxing with a nice view. This hotel was a wonderful surprise. We only stayed one night but could have stayed more! Staff was helpful at checkout. Quick and simple. A great stop after the Bernina Express. It was about a 7 minute walk from the train station.

    All positive during our stay.

Great central location, modern clean room, delicious buffet breakfast, helpful friendly staff. Paola checked us in and she was amazing. The rooftop views are a bonus.

The glass floor in the stairwell is not for faint hearted but definitely looks cool.Parking is a bit tricky.

    9JuliePosted on: 6-17-2025

Views were stunning, staff and quality of ingredients of menu was a notch up.

    8ElizabethPosted on: 2-24-2025

Modern, clean and spacious. Great to have water and all mod cons like coffee machine, smart tv in bedroom and lounge.

Self checkin nit available until 3pm. Having been on the Bernina and having then to wait around before getting into property was not helpful especially with suitcases.

Very cool hotel / apartments in a great location. Nice and clean.

Needs to be more clear that this is effectively a staff less hotel. The check in process needs improving, you can check in yourself online before and they tell you your key card will be on the desk from 3pm. I’d guess the majority of people staying here will be coming off the Bernina express which gets in about 1pm. We arrived at the hotel shortly after along with 3 other groups to find no one at the hotel and a phone line they didn’t pick up.Eventually someone come to check us in but it wouldn’t a great first impression. Lovely hotel let down by this.

    9GintarePosted on: 2-17-2025

Perfect location, cozy rooms and nice breakfast.

We have arranged additional bed for kid and at the arrival time it was not prepared. While personnel were preparing, we had to leave room for half an hour, this was a bit uncomfortable as the time slot was provided by hotel.

I stayed at Domus Cavour for one night. The hotel is clean and recently renovated, which is a plus. Overall, it was an o

We felt cigarette smell in the room.

    10SandraPosted on: 2-6-2025

We loved our stay at Domus, the hotel it self was excellent, breakfast was excellent and the beds were so comfortable. The room was well designed, giving our family plenty of space.

    4NataliePosted on: 1-28-2025

    Nice but wouldn’t stay again

Walls to the room were made of glass, and the curtains didn’t shut fully which meant light was coming in (making it hard to sleep at night)

    10GabriellaPosted on: 1-27-2025

Superb property, clean and very comfortable. Very welcoming and friendly with a delicious breakfast. Don’t miss out on the pistachio croissant!

That we hadn’t booked two nights! Everything was perfect.

    6AlexanderPosted on: 1-15-2025

Good location, plenty of space in the room, modern building and room. Breakfast decent.

Room is too modernish / grey, no colours or decorations, feels very cold.Even colder feels the floor in winter, I would recommend to bring house shoes / slippers. In general, the heating is a no go for this price. Heating is done by the A/C only, which is super load. If you keep it on in winter to let the room not freeze completely, it will turn every 1-2 hours or so and make plenty of noise. Room was quite expensive (220 Euro), overall this was not good value for money.
