Rooms are so cozy. They reserved the cab for next morning and packed breakfast ahead of time. Hotel in right in front of church. I can open window up to view the church.

Location, clean rooms, very polite staff, ten minutes walk to Bernina Express train station.

They had a brand you AC – I didn’t need it, but it’s really cool (pun intended). The room was really clean. There were both European and Italian outlets available throughout the room – type L standalone and type F / type L hybrids.

The parking was very unintuitive to find. There was a mishap with a newly installed AC making some weird noises, but that should be no factor after a break in period and a routine checkup on the system from a technician.

Great breakfast, and everyone at the hotel is very nice and sweet. Location is walking distance to the train station like 12min. Everything is clean and comfortable beds.

Location next to church and main Plaza. Room under the roof sees the cathedral and bell tower.... so great.The staff was very helpful and kind (she could manage a screaming lady on the same floor of our room...2 thumbs up ?)

Wifi should cover all areas (nit only common area).Will be better to have hot food (but variety of choices)

It's a very lovely hotel with a friendly hostess. Exceptionally clean. The room and the bathroom were perfect for 1 person, nicely decorated in yellow. There was everything I needed, including the hairdryer. I had to leave early in the morning to Milan and got a special package with fresh pastries to take away. The hotel is 15 minutes walking from the train station, next to the central church and there are nice restaurants nearby.

The hotel is great. It is an easy 10 walk from the train station. The owner cheerfully greeted me and gave me suggestions of places to see and where to dine. The room was large with a small balcony. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom appeared to have been recently remodeled….new shower stall, sink, toilet, etc. Morning breakfast was assorted breads, cheese, meats, yogurt, fruit, cereal. And of course coffee and juices. This is exactly the type of hotel I like to stay in.

Hygienic, good location, and nice ambiance all together. The ma'am who managed the hotel was so kind and supportive, and I left there with a homely experience.

The Wi-Fi connection was not that good in the room where I stayed. might be some technical issues.

First things first. Perfect location, right in the city centre and beautiful view to the train tracks of Bernina Express. High quality breakfast with a wide range of options. Also, the room was clean and the whole hotel has that cozy specific vibe that one could come across only in the northern part of Italy. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. By far one of the best options for Tirano.

Stayed last year at Altavilla and thoroughly enjoyed a couple of days walking and so made a return visit which equally enjoyable. The Albergo is in a superb location right on the old town square and opposite the church - the whole area especially nice with Christmas decorations. Sonia, the manager, is very accommodating and knowledgeable on the area and things to do. Nothing is too much problem. Breakfast is superb, lots of choice for the non-meat eater! I like the rustic style of this Albergo, offers a non-pretentious and welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely stay again

The lady Sonia is super nice. She gave me a lot of advices and information about Tirano. She also took care of me in all respects. I really appreciated her kindness. The room is very clean and comfortable. I had a great stay here.
