Hotel Bellevue

Pros +

• The view from this hilltop property is superb, a panorama of mountains that changes with the light. And the restaurant is above average for a three star hotel. Great trout lunch!
• The location is great with a beautiful view from the balcony as well as the whole hotel area. Rooms are reasonably big and comfortable. Staff is friendly.
• Friendly staff. Should be a great view in summer months. Fridge in the room.

Cons -

• The male manager needs a refresher course in visitor hospitality (I hasten to add that everyone else was friendly).
• Breakfast can be improved, though only minor complaints. It is reasonable, but for example, scrambled eggs were always overcooked as they were kept on heat for a long time.
• A bit outdated and tired hotel on the high hill, where you can get with your luggage only by car. People walk and hike up, but dont try to do that with luggage . It was cloudy and foggy days i spent there, so did not see anything around from the hill. No kettle, no tea in the room, but outside the hotel there is a self-service tea-coffee-water dispencer fir 1,5+ eur depending what you want. Completely wrong season to visit is february, when I visited. Absolutely no guests.
