Good buffet breakfast; lovely staff, beautiful old hotel.

The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety and high quality food

The mattress was a bit firm for me

I really liked the warm welcome at the reception ! The breakfast buffet had a nice variety unfortunately the eggs where cold on the second day and there was also no traditional vinschgauer bread on the second day.

Close to center, near the hotel it’s mall with supermarket The stuff was good and breakfast also was good.

The shower water was not strong enough Car park its 10 minutes walk from the hotel , but it’s safe i park my car there 2 days and the value is 18 euro per day

Well located

It’s a very old building approximately restored and refurbished, quite far way from being a a 4 star grand hotel

Great location for train travelers. The bus stop to hiking trails is just across the street, and you can easily walk to everything in centro from this spot.

Located just a pleasant walk to the centre of town. Secure parking for my motorbike in the hotel's own lockable garage. Very good value for money.

Beds

Breakfast is till 10am. Striktly. That means, they turn off the light in dinning area at 9.59, while some people are still drinking coffee and chatting.

The location was great, the rooms were really nice and staff so friendly.

I mentioned to the front desk person (who was very nice helpful in all other ways) that they shouldn't automatically charge my credit card in dollars which she had done. I've lived and worked in Europe for six years and for me and my colleagues it's better for us to pay in the local currency. And most places either charge in the local currency, euros in this case or at least ask. When I was leaving the hotel, I had to pay for another bill and I specifically asked this time to pay in Euros and she still charged me in dollars. So it happened twice. They were not big bills but in principle they shouldn't do that. There's an extra charge effect they do that and a poorer exchange rate.

Very kind and welcoming staff like the feeling of being home while traveling, beautiful building and spaces, loved the balcony view, breakfast was abundant, and location perfect for quick access to train station and city center and thermals

Good location near the Centro and Merano Therme. My room was quiet with mountain views.

Excellent location, close to down town just 5 minutes by walking. Hotel very clean , confortable with a very kind staff. The owner was able to help us with a real pleasure.

An elegant historic hotel, attentive & friendly staff, clean & comfortable. Quiet though on a Main Street. We had a large room with a balcony. Generous buffet breakfast. Great location, close to everything including the train station. We would stay here again.
