Hotel Krone

Hotel is in a excellent position right downtown of Brunico and there are also internal swimming pool and sauna! Free parking is also an important feature.

In the middle of the old city, in pedestrian area, own property parking outside, typically Italian style, good bed and shower, balcony at castle side.

We didn’t made reservation for breakfast due to costs, so cannot judge if it was worthy the money.

Staff was very helpful to us. We had some questions about the area and they answered them. Our dinner at the hotel was very good. We enjoy a clean quiet location and we found just that at Hotel Krone.

Rooms excellent and clean. Location great for old town. Breakfast good spread. Owner very friendly and helpful. Family run hotel. If you plan on only skiing at Kronplatz only then this is fine as you can leave your Skies and boots at a deposits by the lifts

8 minutes walk to ski bus stop can get tedious as was carrying Skis and Boots each time as i was skiing at various resorts. The actual bus ride is takes about 15 minutes and busses leave every 15 minutes. You can leave skis and boots at a locker by lifts but I wanted to ski at different resorts

Fresh modern rooms. Great location in centre of old Brunico. Super friendly & helpful staff offerring us lifts to & from Kronplatz & finding us a table for 6 when the whole town was booked out on New Years eve.We loved our stay here.

Disappointed.

Personnel walks in without knocking (then apologizes). We asked for a 'Do not disturb' sign to avoid this further. The front office employee promised to get us one. That never happened, so we made our own sign just to not have people walk into our room. About the room: window coverage was a joke, see attached picture. Especially since the hotel is in a city centre, with street lights just outside your window. Besides this the location of the hotel within Bruneck is very nice.

It's in a lovely location on the pedestrian plaza. Very comfortable rooms.

Unlike in some towns, the bells of the nearby cathedral chime on the hour all night.

Staff very kind and friendly. Rooms were new and super comfy with smart tv. Breakfast plentiful, varied and fresh.

I would have liked to have a minibar at the room.

The shower.

Hotel right in the pedestrian center of Brunico, so superb location. Quiet at night. You can't get to the entrance by car though (but some 300m away). Room was spacious, nice shower/drain, overall dated, needs some paint refreshing, but clean, after all it is a 3-star hotel. Toiletries included: small soap and shampoo, and I noticed a decent hair drier. I stayed only one night, did not try any other service. Breakfast is normal, nothing fancy. Hotel staff was hard to get a hold of when needed. Parking is free but 2-3 min walk from the hotel. They let your car be parked there even after checkout, which I appreciated. Overall, great quality-price ratio.

Pillows are not comfy. Overall, good quality for a 3-star hotel.

We didn't book a room in advance, we "dropped in unexpectedly", but they were still very helpful and friendly. We had to stay an extra day for private reasons, but it was all sorted out without any problems. Our room was well furnished, spacious and clean. The bathroom was large and well-functioning. After one of the best and most satisfying buffet breakfasts of our travels, we were on our way from the hotel's private car park. We loved the city, we will be back.

Super strategic location! The transfer offered by the hotel was super convenient. Small hotel but with everything you need. Really liked the breakfast, too!

Rooms are small some of them do not have bidet. In one room we had mold but they solved the problem quickly. Too expensive for what it is but that was also the period.
