Hotel Sonne Lienz

It's a lovely hotel with old world charm. The whole hotel is spotless. The staff are lovely. It's exactly what a hotel should be. Welcoming. Clean and comfortable. I have read reviews saying 'not enough artwork etc! But I have never been travelling expecting hotel artwork to make the difference to my stay! Breakfast brilliant.. not too extreme with enough options to start everybody's day. The location can't be better. I loved it.

Nothing. I'm only 50 + and have stayed all over the world. Clean...bed.. middle town... brilliant ❤️

Perfect location, right in the center ot town. Great bike storage in their garage. Massive size room and super clean. Breakfast was also good.

The hotel (and my room) is/was a bit outdated- but if you are not there for the show but for a comfortable and clean stay it is perfect. It was a good price for the value.

The hotel is in the center of the town, great location for walking around the pedestrian area. The room was spacious enough. It was clean but a bit rundown.

Good location , 2 rooms were clean, one room had ants. Good breakfast, garage for parking motorcycles.

If you are heavy, the mattress would be too soft for you.

Really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was comfortable and large. The breakfast was of good quality and plentiful. There was even use of a sauna on request which was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Breakfast buffet was outstanding. A wide variety of choices, very ample. The hotel was very well-located in Lienz, a five-minute walk to the train station, and a two-minute walk to the central square area. The room was large and very comfortable, and guests could enjoy a sauna and/or exercise in a well-equipped gym.

Good location. Clean. Good breakfast with fresh orange, omelets, good coffee. As a plus, there is an underground garage.

Fabulous location. Close to train station and right in the heart of the town. Beautiful breakfast!

The location is excellent, the room is big, but the corridors are dated and the carpet is screaming for a change! The staff is very nice and the breakfast was very good!!!

The carpet is just makes the room look dirty.

The top service. I arrived late & the hotel staff made it as easy as they could to accommodate me & it was followed up around the time of my arrival.Also location was great, easy & close access to all.

We arrived by motorcycle and had rained all day..when we went to reception the first thing the really nice lady told us was they had a drying room which was fantastic..when we got our room it had a bath which was really lovely after being wet and somewhat cold..underground parking also has direct access to the hotel which is really handy..hotel is well located in middle of town

Breakfast was adequate but could be improved a little

Nice hotel in the centre of beautiful Lienz. Stayed here before and after hike to Tre Cime in Dolomites - they were happy to store the luggage we didn't need. Nice breakfast buffet. Clean. Good view of town and surrounding hills.

Excellent location 5-10 mins walk from the train station. Very close to restaurants and the old town. Reception staff very pleasant and welcoming and great breakfast. Very comfortable bed.

The furnishing in the rooms are a little outdated, but the benefits of the hotel make up for that.

Excellent location in the city centre. Clean, very spacious room with good facilities. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Overall, good value for money.
